To add to your confusion, I don’t think the BC is worth wasting anymore time on and I can’t stand Obama either.

Would love to briefly be a fly-on-the-wall brain cell in liberal’s minds at the moment they find out West is a black man. Viewing the mental confusion would be priceless.

Within a few short years, he'll have strong name recognition, and a well known reputation and record to stand on.

Exactly! and He's very interesting to watch when among other politicians or panels he's a part of. He has a keen ability to size up the political climate he is in.

neither are ready....IMO. But I would put West above Cain...considerably so...if he was to run. I hope that he doesn't and waits it out as he needs to.

I would not want West as VP....they have little clout and basically on stand by. He has way too much he'll be able to offer our country to sit on the warming bench.

Right now he is accomplishing good things and gaining notoriety more and more. By the time HE determines His opportunity he'll be well prepared. I would like to see him up front and personal on the world stage...not just here on the home-front. I suspect over time he will be seen as that in some circles.

I'd hate to see Allen West waste four to eight years, just standing in the wings as VP. He has far too much to contribute to our nation at this time, and can best do that by staying in Congress.

I don't think Palin would have him "just standing in the wings". She would work him, and use him as a resourse. I don't want him as prez right now either (too green), but he can contribue more as VP than he can as simply one of 435 C-critters.

A president certainly has the power to delegate a great amount of responsibility to their VP, and I would certainly hope that Palin would make full use of Allen West's talents and capabilities (should they wind up at the WH next year).

Knowing Palin and West, it would probably work just like that. We might actually see the first VP in our lifetimes who's got a full-time job.

Second.

You forgot Dick Cheney.

You forgot Dick Cheney.

You're right, but you know why I missed him? He was so quiet and business-like in what he did, that I hardly noticed. I'd call that extreme efficiency, wouldn't you?

He was a great VP.

The thread-jacker was Spaulding.

You're a liar. Spaulding's post was centered around the discussion about Col. West. You never mentioned Col. West at all.

What else could we expect from someone who admits that their whole purpose is to disrupt FR threads?
