"They're going to come after me more viciously than they would a white candidate," Cain responded....You bet they will, even many liberal black politicians.

Just like they did Palin for being a woman.

I like the fact that he’s not going to be a pushover.

The liberal and RINO establishment will attempt to destroy Cain. He threatens the idea that white people hate blacks and the Republicrat Party needs the black/white thing to keep us from noticing that they’ve sold us out. Put Bachmann on the ticket and they’ll go insane trying to convince us that we’re “supposed to hate blacks and women, dammit!! Now...start hatin.”.

Cain also showed what appeared to be a startling lack of engagement in key foreign policy issues when asked why he has not put forth his plan for U.S. involvement in Afghanistan. "I'm not privy to a lot of confidential information," Cain said. If elected president, Cain continued, he would gather the generals and the experts, talk it over, and then come up with a policy. "The experts and their advice and their input would be the basis for me making that decision," he said....An honest answer ...something you don't hear from most politicians. The man has my support.

Well, true. Look how they reacted to Clarence Thomas.
But Cain still isn’t presidential material, I don’t think. Zero experience as a politician. Zero record. We know what he says he will do, but we don’t know what he would actually do.

There’s nothing the Left hates more than members of it’s captive voting blocs - blacks, Hispanics, gays, etc. - going off the reservation and thinking for themselves. Cain is going to be subjected to an enormous amount of bile.

With Cain, we can shove that Race Card up their A55e5 so far that it’ll pop out their left eyeball.
To: 4rcane
Does not and never has worked for conservatives. Ask Justice Thomas.

Herman’s sole electoral experience was in 2004, when he got routed in a Senate primary by a 2-to-1 margin by a battle-scarred warhorse who himself had lost three previous elections.
And now, he plays the race card. But the truth is, Herman, if you were white, nobody would take you seriously.

In other words you want a professional politician...a Washington insider like the ones we’ve been electing and taken us where we are? Cain has a very successful record as a business man> I think we need drastic change otherwise we’ll continue to go downhill. I’m willing to take a chance with Cain.

"Zero experience as a politician." Sounds like the perfect President to me.
Right now he is my top candidate to vote for in the primaries.

Shut up, Hermie. You sound too much like that other black guy*, the one many thinking people have come to hate. Rise above.

Cain’s saying the right things, and making smart arguments. That’s all that matters at this point... lord knows every other potential candidate has gone soft and backtracked.
As far as race goes, Cain is up for something different altogether - he’s not mixed, light skinned, posing as an identity politics activist, or Shirley Chilsom. He’s going to experience “liberal” racism the likes we have never seen before. I think he can take it, but I hope he’s scandal free.
