Whatever happened to these investigators in Hawaii and the unbelievable things they were finding out? Why have we not heard more about that? Makes me wonder if he ever really even had investigators in Hawaii to begin with.

Funny comment from HA about all the gaffes from the candidates and the pullouts:

"These guys need to slow down, Wasilla is running out of popcorn".

I don’t get what’s so telling about that?

I hope you're right, but he won't have much of a platform to do it from.

The field is narrowing now, no Christie, no Huck, no Barbour, no Trump, Gingrich committing Hara Kiri in front of our eyes, Daniels boring us all to death, Pawlenty not far behind, Santorum gaining no traction.

I hope she runs (half of me), it's opening up for her big time.

I had read somewhere in the media that the ratings were down 23% the week following the press dinner drubbing and release of the bc. I don’t think he enjoyed the public humiliation. I’m hoping he will continue to work behind the scenes where he won’t sustain financial damage as he did being public in his opposition.

>>Like getting to the stadium a few hours early and watching batting practice... of the non-starters.<<

I love that analogy! You nailed it.

Oops, I forgot to include Mitt with Newt committing Hara Kiri in front of us.....

I'm thinking he's toast now too with his re commitment to Romney Care.

Open the field for real conservatives.

I don't disagree with you, but aside from Palin, to whom do you refer, in the current field? Bachmann? Cain? Are these serious contenders? All of them on their worst day beat Newt, Romney and of course ZERO on their best day. But I fear we need someone with charisma, gravitas and more recognition with middle America to be electable. Sad fact, but true given the results of 2008.

Just in time for the real conservatives like Bachman to get going.

I had no problem with Trump competing for the Republican nomination.

And I’m glad he’s not running independent making a Baraq win with a Clintonian plurality quite likely.

I think Trump showed that we want somebody who has got media savvy and the ability to get into the ring with the Rats, we so much wanted Trump to be that guy, but in the end, the Media Dinner fiasco proved he wouldn’t be up to the task.

So who is left? It may very well come down to Palin, because I don’t see that feistiness in any of the other potential candidates.

"ratings had dropped for the Apprentice because of all the bad publicity"

What bad publicity?

I agree with you post especially the ending. You could be right about the weekly loss of rating but overall is what my number is.....And good news he has been renewed so he will be busy in the fall with his show so behind the scenes work would be very welcomed.

If it comes down to Cain vs. Palin, and a few Establishment RINOs splitting each others votes, I’m OK with that.

I think Cain’s star has only begun to shine. *IF* Palin decides not to run (she might just say she’s going to keep the money she’s been making and play Kingmaker), then this could be setting up a perfect storm for Cain to win it all.
