Donald Trump is not running for president.
"After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency," Trump said in a statement Monday. "This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country," the real estate mogul and reality show star continued.

I agree as well. OBL strike was to trump the eligibility contentions.
Hoping DT can come out on it and get heard but if he were in debates it WOULD have been given center stage.
I didn’t think he was serious about running for president, but because of his initial announcement, he certainly brought more attention to the birther issue. I think that was his purpose all along.

It is all the process, last time it was all over by the Fla primary. I dont see what the hurry is. A few more will be whittled down by the Iowa State Fair Straw poll.

Agreed, and I think Sarah well understands this. Look at the circus going on in the Republican field right now. Why would she want to be anywhere close to that melee?
If, as you say, she waits until Labor Day to announce, there's still about six months of solid campaigning to do until the primary vote in Feb - March of 2012.
There's plenty of time yet, for her to announce.

I can’t believe people actually believed that he was running. He’s a publicity whore...plain and simple. One thing that bugs me is everytime I hear him speak he’s always bragging about one thing or another. The guy has absolutely zero humility. It’s amazing.

And the clueless just latch on to claims they want to believe. They wanted Give-m-hell Trump to kick some behinds so bad, when he wouldnt even run in any case because he didnt want to make public his personal finances.
I remember when O Reilly was claiming ethanol would make us energy independent and so many people believed him. Then we did it and we are screwed.
