This is a blanket annoyance about all minorities: why do they always need to segregate into their little groups? Who will be left, when everything always has to be divided into skin color, nationality, who you want to sleep with, etc. it’s getting ridiculous.
Can a black man mentor a white kid? Can a gay man mentor a straight kid? Do we need separate islands for everyone?

Well I guess it’s time I let everyone know where I stand. After all it seems that telling the the world about your sexuality is the thing to do. So here goes. I’m heterosexual. There I’ve said it. I feel so much better. I just told my wife of 33 years and she said “well no shit.”
I suspect he came out because he has done a lousy job with the team and deserves to be fired and maybe this will pressure the team to keep him on for a while longer. As a president of an NBA team, he’s going to get fired anyway. Coming out will only make it much more difficult to find another NBA gig in any position.
