The French political bigshot who heads the International Monetary Fund was arrested for allegedly sodomizing a Manhattan hotel maid today — hauled off an Air France flight just moments before takeoff from Kennedy Airport, police said.

Like your reply DesertRhino! It would sorta be like Shane smacking the little kid around for being afraid of Jack Palance and telling Jean Arther to buck up or he’ll smack her too. The strong protect the weak; and the strong need to have some sympathy and empathy for those who can not protect themselves. Doesn’t that define (whatever we may feel about individual wars) how we fight our wars?

Thank you, thats just how i see it. And i still haven’t seen the slightest thing to impeach this woman’s account. According to police she had injuries,
she fled from the room and immediately reported what happened.
Cops were dispatched immediately, and he was already gone, leaving everything behind,,,
and he went straight to the airport for a flight he wasn’t booked on until he arrived at the counter.
Oh,, and he has a documented recort of this behavior, and was warned BY THE IMF on his behavior towards women.
And Oh yeah, and he’s a communist.

Still missing is the slightest hint that the maid is a liar or has the slightest moral turpitude.

I never believed the Duke lacrosse rape charge, and i feel bad for pro athletes falsely accused by gold diggers. But anyone can see that so far this looks like what she says it was.

But that aside, without fail, when I see strong people, male or female, their are easy to be around, and not bullies. It’s because they don’t have to prove anything,,,and are adult enough to realize that it’s not possible for everyone to be a karate master, or always armed.

The first two heads of IMF, Dan Briggs and Jim Phelps, would be shocked by this guy’s behavior.

Nope.....just don’t think a man of that stature, no matter what I think of him or his organization, is going to go chasing a hotel maid naked and then somehow force her to “commit a sex act” (notice the distinct absence of the word ‘rape’ in all accounts).

Makes zero sense. Zero.

Clearly something untoward happened; something......but I’m not going to automatically ‘buy’ the maid’s story like everyone else seems to on this thread.

“Dirty tricks dept just did him”

Seriously? So dirty tricks just fabricated his past history of taking inappropriate sexual liberties with women? I don’t have a dog in this fight, but the account in the paper didn’t sound that “out-of-character” to me.

The head of the IMF is a sodomist, a socialist and a Frenchman?

What could possibly be wrong with this picture?

He left things behind in his hotel room and tried to jump (and succeeded) on a plane. Hope he remembered to put his clothes on! Looks like suspicion of guilt to me.

I will be the first to apologize if this guy turns out to be innocent; but it ain’t lookin’ good.

I don’t know,,, you know, a man of that “stature”. One of the benevolent guardian leaders, it’s hard to think they would ever lower themselves like that./
It’s just so sad when Communist leaders in the international governmental banking community are not respected as the quiet, classy, thinking men that they are.
Next thing, people will be speaking ill of Hugo, or Mugabe, or Mao, or Lenin,, etc/

Like you, im open to the possibilities,, but everything i see so far is that she appears believable, and he appears deceptive. According to police, as soon as she ran from the room, they were quickly responding to his room, and he was gone, leaving his things behind. Even a cell phone! He must have been hot on her heels out the door, running for the airport (no flight scheduled) and went straight to a ticket booth and got on.

Whereas it is true that there are false accusations. This does not appear to be one of them. No doubt the Left will be rolling out attempts to destroy the maid.

Fox radio ran out an hour or so ago that there were bloodstains all over the room. Presumably not his. Two hours before that, Fox ran his lawyer going deep on the ‘let’s assume innocence until proven guilty’ schtick.

Hope he’s a friend of zero.

Nope.....just don’t think a man of that stature,

Stature? Because he has money and a powerful position - that somehow raises him/his character to a higher level than a street cleaner or a file clerk?

chasing a hotel maid naked and then somehow force her to “commit a sex act” (notice the distinct absence of the word ‘rape’ in all accounts).

Is dragging her down the hall, being naked, grabbing her body parts and forcing her but not actually raping her is all OK?

Makes zero sense. Zero.

So you must know of incidents when conduct like this does make sense. Maybe it makes sense to you when someone is on his last dime and he's not known?

Clearly something untoward happened; something......but I’m not going to automatically ‘buy’ the maid’s story like everyone else seems to on this thread.

You don't have to buy her story. Those who count do - the judge and the persecutor and her immediate supervisor, and the doctor who examined her.

And he's in jail now on Riker's Island without bail. And we all thank God that you weren't in charge as you clearly consider his stature and the lowliness of the maid.

I am curious that, as a devout Muslim, there have been no calls by male Muslims, particularly her relatives, close friends, to stone her to death. I mean there were not 5 male witnesses as required in order to believe her charge of sexual assault. Why no stoning for her? Why all of a sudden they “trust American justice system” and are not enforcing Sharia law?

Because you failed miserably, I twisted words? I’d be surprised if you even had a job considered your posts here. A man of his stature - LOL! Only a liberal could be fooled so easily.

I had not heard she was Muslim not that I really care but it does raise the possibility of her murder by someone willing to take the “law” of Islam seriously. I could see the Left finding someone willing to eliminate her and pretend it was on religious grounds.

This is an incredible development when we find that the head of the IMF is a fricking socialist not to mention a Bill Clinton on steroids. How long can the Left get away with defending these serial rapists?

Definitely have a job, pal, not that it’s any of your business.....and let’s see when all the facts eventually come out. There’s more to this story, and if you doubt that, you’re very, very easily fooled.

But’s it your business that I should give up my day job? Give it but can’t take it? Big with the mouth but a weak backbone? He’s on Riker’s Island in jail now - what he can buy his way out of is anyone’s guess - but it will be tried big time! These days he has a taste of things to come and he can’t handled it - so if he can reach the right person now, he’ll walk or charges reduced. Again, thank God for justice, it was not you making these important decisions. ‘This man of stature’ has you memorized.
