Mitt Romney just gave a more articulate defense of Obamacare than President Obama ever has. He continues to believe that the individual mandate is a good idea, despite the fact that the free-rider problem is a myth. His effort to make a distinction between Romneycare and Obamacare was not persuasive: If anything, he convincingly made the opposite case, that Romneycare and Obamacare are based on the same fundamental concept.
In recent months, Romney has claimed that Romneycare was a specific solution for the specific needs of Massachusetts. But in his remarks, he did not name one specific aspect of the Massachusetts health-care environment that is unique to that state. If there are no important differences between the Massachusetts health-care system and that of other states, why shouldnt he believe that Romneycare should be the model for every other state?

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan: “No Herman Cain for President, Mittens for best friend.”
Same here. I’m staying home if this @ss-clown is the GOP nominee.
So says a man with no valid arguments.
Actually, it's worse. The Massachusetts leg didn't shove this puppy down Romney's throat -- it was his idea from the get go!
Sure, given the preponderant Dem majorities, Romney immediately lost control of the legislation -- but it was his idea in the first place!
So, one might justifiably conclude either:
1. Romney is, at bottom, a liberal collectivist.
2. Or a totally incompetent politician.
3. Both of the above.
The only tiny power we have is a veto power. We stay home the republican loses. The party elites have to be made to understand that. And we have to be willing to use that power.
So says a man who thinks there’s a difference between a republican radical socialist and a democrat radical socialist.
We will work against Romney and the GOP in that case.
Romney for Obama in 2008
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off .hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged

Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates

We know who's the only person capable of taking down Obama, but the elites aren't having it and the people are sheep. So therefore, it's time to have a backup plan when the crap does hit the fan.
Whaaaaat?? Mittster, the darling of NRO, has no clothes? This is totally unexpected!
You calling Romney a “radical socialist” makes it true only in your fevered imagination. No one in the real world falls for such crap.
Or do you have evidence that MR was raised by anti-Americans, had his schooling paid for by foreign powers, and was raised to national prominence through the efforts of dedicated terrorists? If so, lets see it. If not, go fly a kite.
He outed himself today. Go be counted like a good little republican.
Trump is Romney, without the mormon baggage.
Be sure to include me in that collective "we", as I'll never vote for the statist,/socialist/baby killing/lower than pond scum/ bastard. Never!
That is a good question. I hope he takes a hard look, concludes he can't win, and drops out. Romney would split the party fatally. There is a serious danger the GOP goes the way of the Whigs this election.
“If anything, he convincingly made the opposite case, that Romneycare and Obamacare are based on the same fundamental concept.”
And why shouldn’t they be? Both were written by fat Teddy Kennedy, who, from the grave, is still tormenting the nation.
“So says a man who thinks theres a difference between a republican radical socialist and a democrat radical socialist.”
Someone that can write a statement like that has no business calling others naive, stupid, or anything else.
We all better hope the republican party can smell a loser before it’s too late.
