Agreed. I flip through all the news channels and they have all, national and local, covered the flood story. And of course, the Weather Channel.

them coonasses can swim and shoot gators at the same timeLOL, and if you miss the gator, you learn to swim *real* fast!

I wonder if they are filming Swamp People right now? Pissed off gators and moccasins should add to the drama.

If Il Douche were any more detached from the country he was elected to govern, the laws of gravity wouldn’t apply to him.
Sheesh! If this had been “W” [think Katrina], the MSM would be on it like buzzards on a gut wagon.

Very little being said about it.
If a Republican were in office, the press wopuld be claiming that the President MADE the river flood.

Is CNN going wall-to-wall? Nope.
Of course not. What does it matter what happens in the howling flyover wilderness?

Not a point to this article, but I LOVE the show “Swamp People”. Don’t worry.. Troy, Liz, and Bruce can handle it!!

” Im just wondering when the Mighty Mississippi decides its had enough of man trying to tell it where to go and changes course again.”
And when it joins up with the Atchafalaya, Morgan City replaces New Orleans as the big port.

Many liberals would like to see Popular Vote instead of Electoral College, just not in 2012. Obama would be decimated. There are many millions of regretful voters out there.
The old "Fool me once..." cliche comes to mind.

This story has been the lead story on Fox News Channel for several days! They have On-location reporting from the flooded intersection of Riverside and Beale Streets with multiple reporters through the day to tag team it.
If anyone wants to make something broader from the story they should go back and read Mark Twain. The Mississippi was flooding long before the Crawdad even learned its name.

Foxnews just said that the river is at 48’ above flood level at Memphis and the water hasn’t stopped rising yet.
To: george76
I’m seeing it talked about even on sports talk shows, I think it’s getting plenty of coverage.
