Travis County Sheriffs deputies arrested Enriquez Lopez and Leona Wallace after they say the two broke into their neighbors trailer to accuse him of stealing Wallaces underwear.
Deputies were called by the victim just before 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
According to court paperwork, the victim told deputies that the suspects forced their way into his home and threatened to kill him. The victim claims that he was sitting inside his home watching TV when the two suspects knocked on his door. After telling the two to leave, the victim said he shut the door and walked away.
He claims that just a second later the door flew open and both Wallace and Lopez came into the residence and threatened the victim. The victim said that Wallace was holding a tire iron and they were both were threatening to kill him. According to the arrest affidavit, the suspects claimed a landlord told them the victim had taken things from them. They also claimed they were told the victim had been arrested for stealing womens underwear.
While interviewing the victim, a deputy spotted Wallace walking around the trailer park. The deputy said Wallace admitted to drinking alcohol and confronting the victim about stealing her underwear.
As one deputy was interviewing Wallace, another deputy was able to locate Lopez who was walking out of the trees. Deputies say it appeared that Lopez was also intoxicated. According to court paperwork, Lopez admitted to confronting the victim but denied entering his residence.
However, later deputies say Lopez admitted to entering the residence and that Wallace was holding a tire iron during the confrontation.
Deputies also interviewed a witness who said he saw the two suspects enter the home and then heard them threaten to kill the victim.
Both Lopez and Wallace were arrested for burglary to a residence. According to law, a person commits a burglary of a residence if he or she enters a building or habitation and commits or attempts to commit a felony, theft, or assault.
And then a tornado hit and the meth lab blew up.
