The Bin Laden killing's link with the Arab Revolt
Debka ^ | May 2, 2011 | Debka file

The photos released of the fortified villa in Abbottabad, Pakistan, where Osama bin Laden died on Sunday night, May 2, show a satellite dish as well as cables and wires snaking along the outer and inner walls. Smashed computers appear in shots of the interior rooms. Far from dispensing with electronic devices and Internet connections as widely reported, the fortress that was the al Qaeda leader's last haven proves to have been equipped with both.

All this up-to-date electronic technology would have opened the six-year old building wide to outside intelligence penetration and surveillance. Bin Laden additionally suffered from a kidney disease and was dependent on dialysis treatment and outside medical care - another porthole into the Bin Laden's establishment.

There was no need therefore to follow the trail of the couriers described as leading the CIA to the hideout of the most wanted terrorist in the world. He occupied a large three-storey building which stuck out on the skyline of the Pakistani garrison town of Abbottabad, 120 kilometers from Islamabad, and towered over neighboring buildings. Pakistani intelligence must have been curious, to say the least, about this sizeable compound when it was built in 2005 just 100 meters from a military academy in a small town housing a military base and generals' residences. Therefore, the repeated statements by US officials that the Navy Seals' special operation took place without Pakistani knowledge sounds like a hollow attempt to absolve Islamabad of involvement in the killing of the arch terrorist in the eyes of the Muslim world.

Certainly Pakistan both hid and gave up OBL.

There's no way he could have been there without the ISI and Military knowing.

And there's no way a town that garrisons a full division of military men couldn't get together enough to get a single shot off at the "intruders" in 40 minutes. I tend to think this was a choreographed hit with Pak complicity.

What I don't understand is why now? A trade for the US to pull out of Afghanistan? Diplomatic assistance on Kashmir? Weapons?

Perhaps all of the above.

From minute one I have thought it was to distract attention from the birth certificate and all the questions that Trump was asking.

I could see Obama having some private connections, IYKWIM.

Not only that, a helicopter hitting the ground makes quite a bit of noise...Where were Osama’s bodyguards??

My theory is that Obama gave up Egypt and the rest of N. Africa to the Muslim Brotherhood and in return they gave up a has been who was more trouble then he was worth. Obama is a Muslim, the Brotherhood wants to keep him in office. Also, with OBL gone it makes the U.S. Military pullout of the middle east easier for Obama. Once the U.S. military is out it will be just like Vietnam in 1975, and Glenn Beck will be correct.

Reading Debka to get defense-related information is like reading Mad Magazine to learn Calculus.

I’d need a massively more robust argument that what’s been offered in this article to believe that “B” influenced “A” when “A” occurred first, and was pretty clearly traceable to higher grains and fuels prices that are plainly observable.

There is another option though.

Maybe our new found friends in Libya are being rewarded for giving up information on Osama?

Seems Al queda are useful again, so why not get them to give up intelligence that is already known an opportune time and pay them off with what they think they want and what has already been pre-determined?

Do you prefer the MSM instead?

I think we need to get all the info then apply some critical thinking — the MSM has become so unreliable, that at this point, Debka has more credibility, than they do, IMO.

This was a black hole operation that had nothing to do with binladen or alwhatever.

What transpired was a situational anomaly with potential that was utilized at a moments notice.

A trade for the US to pull out of Afghanistan? Diplomatic assistance on Kashmir?

I'm voting for those two. I read last week that the Pakis are looking to China and South Korea for weapons, so I guess they don't need us for that anymore.

And I vaguely recall that Bambi made some statements supporting Pakistan (and the Muslims, of course) in the Kashmir situation, all of which would jibe with the joint Obama/Pakistan goal of Islamification. So I think Pakistan realizes that BHO is on their side, and this was probably what made the deal possible.

In another version (what's the count now? 30-some?), the 'lack' of electricity was what made the massive compound stick out from the surrounding buildings/residences.

There are now so many versions [intentional dis-information], that all versions are suspect.
