Well said! And lets also not forget that she only need to win the States that GW Bush won in either 2000 or 2004.

I like the line that refers to the MSM polls as “cooked”.... All the polls are MSM

RE :”If we do that, they will be forced to acknowledge that it is Sarah Palin—based not only on her great successes of 2010, but also on her tremendous “swim against the tide” in 2006— who is by far the most formidable candidate the GOP could field in 2012.”(from post)

Speaking of that, have you told Palin this ? Does she think she is the ‘most formidable candidate the GOP could field in 2012’ ? (which wouldnt be saying much right now.) Is she running?

I do not believe , if our nation is to be saved, that the imprimature of a GOP candidate for president is bestowed by the MSM or by the Country Club Republicans ( RINOS).

Rather the successful GOP candidte would be reviled, defamed, and attacked by both the MSM and traduced by the Frankenrinos now trying to control the GOP out of existence.

By that test alone, one can feel and smell the insane fear of the MSM and of the GOP RINOfaction, when a Palin candidacy for president is mentioned in any public venue.

Sarah Palin has the hearts of patriotic Americans, yes she is rustic, just as was Congressman David Crockett in his day, another one reviled by establishment politicians of his day, who would have been an excellent president.

I am for Palin, and have been for years. Her record is hard won, and shows why she has so much appeal to Main Street America, she has paid her dues and now can triumph:

Let's examine the question of Sarah Palin's prowess as a candidate, measured against the current field:

Comparing anybody against the “current field” is meaningless. It is now May of the year before the Presidential election. Bill Clinton did not announce his first winning candidacy until October of the year before the Presidential election.

The “current field” of declared candidates is miniscule. The serious candidates we will be talking about 12 months from now are probably not even on the radar screen yet.

So which candidate successfully swam AGAINST the tide of a big Democrat year in 2006 and registered two huge victories? SARAH PALIN. First, she dispatched Governor and three time U.S. Senator Frank Murkowski in the GOP primary by 51-19%.

In politics, 2006 is Ancient History. In politics, even the summer of 2008 is Ancient History.

When a brand new candidate shows up in 2006 in Alaska or in 2008 on the national stage, people are willing to give that candidate a chance. Sarah Palin, on the national stage, started out with Favorables at 53% and Unfavorables at 22%.

As time passed, those Favorables sank ….. and sank ….. and sank. In January of 2011, she had Favorables at 38% and Unfavorables at 53%.

In November of 2006, the unknown Sarah Palin spanked Frank Murkowski.

In November of 2010, the candidate endorsed by the known Sarah Palin in her own home State of Alaska was spanked by Lisa Murkowski even though Lisa Murkowski ran as a WRITE-IN candidate.

That is NOT good. No matter how much you whitewash it, that is NOT good.

Losing to a WRITE-IN candidate is as bad as it can possibly get in politics.

Losing to a WRITE-IN candidate is practically unheard of.

Losing to a WRITE-IN candidate qualifies as “Ripley's Believe It or Not!” material.

The fact of the matter is that Sarah Palin is like anchovy pizza. A quarter of America just adores anchovy pizza. A quarter of America just adores Sarah Palin. Approximately 70% of America does not want an anchovy pizza anywhere near their dinner plate. Approximately 70% of America does not want Sarah Palin anywhere near the Oval Office.

Sarah Palin seems like a very nice and lovable lady. I would not mind having Sarah Palin as a neighbor or a friend or as an in-law.

Sarah Palin as the GOP nominee, however, gives me nightmares because I am 100% convinced that a Sarah Palin GOP nomination will absolutely GUARANTEE the reelection of Barack Hussein Obama and America simply cannot afford another four years of that Marxist as President of the United States.

FOX News Poll (February 7-9, 2011)

Question 3: I am going to read you a list of names. Tell me if you think that person would make a good President or not.

Sarah Palin:

.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of

ALL...........23%.......72%.........4%.......1%

Dem ...........7%........87%........5%.......1%

Rep ...........40%.......56%.......3%.......1%

Ind ...........25%........69%.......3%.......1%

based upon their early (and "cooked") polls

Do you have any hard evidence that the polls are cooked?

An excellent, cogent analysis of Sarah Palin's strengths. Information that you'll never see in the MSM. I predict that if and when Sarah Palin declares her candidacy, the current field of GOP presidential wannabes will suddenly look very pale. I expect that some will fade away almost overnight as they realize the enormous amount of conservative support Palin has and see the massive campaign contributions that she'll rapidly accrue.

Sarah Palin has been thoroughly vetted by the MSM - who have combed through her past (and probably, her trash cans) and found nothing of substance (or we would have heard about by now). Her name recognition is probably about 99%. I can't believe that all the vicious attacks on Palin and her family, including her special needs son, Trig, 3, won't generate some sympathy for her and make the left look bad when they try to keep doing the same nasty stuff to a middle aged mother of 5 who has a proven record of accomplishment in governing and loves her country enough to face withering criticism and vile attacks on her person, character and even her children in the cause of bringing America back from the brink of destruction being wrought by the feckless, harmful socialist policies of Obama and the Democrats.

Sarah Palin is a proven winner and despite a few trolls who always jump on these threads to make disparaging comments about Palin, she will probably run, she'll definitely win the primary races and she'll beat Obama. That the left and their handmaidens, the MSM, constantly try to prtend that Plain is anathema to most voters and a loser for the GOP, their protestations simply confirm what many of us suspected; the left fears Sarah Palin. You don't attack a person the way she's been attacked (mostly through ridicule in an attempt to diminish her) unless they are a threat. I haven't seen anyone on the left going after Romney, Huckabee, Pawlenty or even Cain the way the left has attacked Sarah Palin, (almost 24/7 for over two years). That fear is a good indication that the left is a bit wiser regarding Palin that some of the honchos in the RNC, although they likely will resist a Palin candidacy based on their own prejudices against conservatives, in general. Palin is a winner and the article from Brices Croosroads shows why.

Is she going to hire a speech coach? She screeches more than Hillary.

That big negative said, I actually do like Sarah in a lot of ways. But this is not beanbag. I know she’s tough, very tough, and can take a pummeling, but I just worry about her unfortunate voice in view of the fact that 35% of the electorate, which includes most of the elusive “Independents” is quite ignorant and votes on the basis of “atmospherics.”

If she gets the nomination, I will definitely support her.

Sarah Palin is the only Republican who could actually WIN in 2012. That’s what is so ludicrous about this “electability” matter. It’s the rest of the field that are dogs. She’s the one who can GOTV. And THAT is how conservatives win. They Get Out The Vote.

Item #1:
Donna Brazile: Voter Photo ID Not the Answer

Eight states have photo-ID laws, and legislation is pending in more than 30 others.

This will work wonders against Democrat voter fraud (at least in 30 states).

Item #2:
Fundraising for the current candidates is weak. So far, Michele Bachmann is out-raising all the RINOs. Few people give enthusiastically to candidates with no guts.

Millions are sitting on their cash, and waiting for Sarah Palin to announce. Ten million people contributing $100.00 (on average) for Sarah Palin will push her past the One Billion dollar mark in the first month.

Item #3:
Even with ALL the media, including FOX, refusing to cover most of Palin's events, speeches, articles, etc., millions of people are going around the MSM to keep up with her. When she does announce, she will dominate the headlines day after day from both the media sharks and from supporters.

The FOX News faux debates in SC did more for Sarah Palin, than they did for any of the four clowns on the stage, or for any of the cookie-cutter RINOs who were not there, but were precisely represented by the four who were.
