I watched bits of it....and all I have to say is we are in trouble!!!

How did Mr. Cain do?
Of the people on the stage, he was hands down the best. A little unpolished, but lightyears ahead of Santorum, Pawlenty, and Paul.
I had to turn the channel before my head exploded after Paulturd starting ranting about how detainees need due process and not giving them due process means our’s will be stripped away. I was shouting - “Hey, doofus, the Constitution of the United States does not apply to NONcitizens.” (Well that is the milder, edited version anyway.)
Hubby said at that point I lost custody of the remote.
I understand Mr. Cain did excellently well.
IMO, it is awfully early for this stuff and I’m not even paying attention. I did not watch last night.
I think a lot of Mr. Cain and would love to see him second on the ticket. I just don’t know if he can bring enough fire to the discussion to be at the top of the ticket. This campaign is going to be ugly and we are going to need a hard nosed, veteran street fighter to beat back Obie.
I didn’t watch either. Too early for me as well.
I like Mr. Cain, as well, and would not be opposed to seeing him involved as a candidate, except my fears mirror those you have already laid out. I want someone who is not afraid to get dirty. I like Sarah’s moxy. (I’m still chuckling over her saying the President shouldn’t be “pussyfooting” around.”) Cain isn’t used to having to slug it out with pukes like Bummer. Pretty much at this point, all the dirt they have on Sarah has been out there, too. Who knows what they’d manufacture on Cain. Cain as VP, potentially? We need someone who is experienced in running campaigns, as well. Like it or not; it’s part of the deal.
As of right now, if only those people who were on stage last night were my choices; the ONLY one I’d select is Cain.
And I agree- I think it is way too early for this crap. Yet, I watched. lol.
