Orange County Republicans have censured an official who sent an email that included President Obama's face superimposed on that of a chimpanzee with the words "Now you know why - No birth certificate!"
County GOP Chairman Scott Baugh has called for Davenport to resign, something she has refused to do. Baugh had said the email was "dripping with racism and is in very poor taste."

It seems they censured her even after she apologized profusely.
“In an apology that included two Bible passages, Davenport initially said she would not repeat her error.
“I am an imperfect Christian lady who tries her best to live a Christ-like honoring life,” the statement said. “I would never do anything to intentionally harm or berate others regardless of ethnicity. So I ask for your forgiveness, for I am truly sorry.
Later, on April 20, she told reporters she wanted to “humbly apologize and ask for your forgiveness for my unwise behavior.” Davenport admitted that, “unintentionally, I have offended many” — though she insisted that she was not racist.”
I am sure all the Dems have apologized profusely for depicting President Bush as a chimp and comparing him to Hitler (/sarc)

I think YOU are racist for making the accusation that any criticism of Obama is racist.
It’s not only I who believes that portraying a black man as a chimp is racist, County GOP Chairman Scott Baugh also believes it to be racist.
However, if you do not believe that picture to be racist, why don’t you encourage Republican candidates running for all offices from dog catcher to president to use that picture in their campaign ads?
It was wrong for a politician to do using email.
All politicians should be held to the same standard.
The segment of our party system that won’t hold Dems to the same standard, are nothing but hypocrites. That is the reason we have a problem with EQUALITY amongst the citizens. Not everyone is being held to the same LAWS/STANDARD. The politicians want us to blame skin color, when it is the politicians who are causing the problem.
In no way should our fellow creatures, the simians, be demeaned by comparing them to Barack Obama.
Because the Democrat candidate for dogcatcher isn’t Barack Obama.

Obama's just mad because he wasn't portrayed as papa chimp. He thinks he's the alpha male, when, in fact, as we can see, he's the baby chump, I mean, chimp.
The reason the papa chimp looks so mad is that Obama's feet smelled so bad. Is this photo racist? Chimps around the world are furious at this characterization.
I put this photo on my wall next to the photo of three piles of poop, in which Obama is the biggest pile. I think he deserves at least that much respect.
