Usually when governments use misinformation, they use it to make themselves look good. The Obama Administration gets points for originality, insofar as it’s been using disinformation and misinformation to make itself look arbitrary, unlawful, helpless and stupid. I wondered about the helicopter too. Even if it were “silent” it crashed into the house. Everybody in the neighborhood would have woken up. And I’m sure Osama heard it too. Wouldn’t he and his bodyguards have immediately picked up some guns? Or wouldn’t Osama have hidden under the bed or in a “safe room”? Maybe he DID want to be a martyr, but I find it hard to believe he just stood there and took a bullet to the head without resisting/using someone as a shield. I don’t understand the conflicting accounts coming from the WH. The original statements from Carney made sense. These continuous revisions don’t.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Carney makes that doofus, Scott McLellan, look like Douglas MacArthur.
I watched the press conference today with Jay Carney.
I was stunned at how incompetent he is. I’m not saying that because he’s the democratic flack. Carney is just incompetent. He gives long rambling answers with huge pauses, makes snide remarks at the press and in general looks like he’s in pain up there. Completely ineffective.
Press Secretaries have a hard enough time as it is given the nature of the job. Having a guy who looks like he absolutely doesn’t want to be there compounds the situation.

Why did they keep changing their story? I need a tinfoil hat myself because I believe Osama died of kidney failure - uremic poisoning - years ago in a cave in Afghanstan for lack of a dialysis machine.
