Bush Deserves Some Credit For Obama Kill

Osama bin Laden was (a) killed by a unit overseen by Dick Cheney's "executive assassination ring," (b) sent into action based on intel derived from now-outlawed "enhanced interrogation techniques" (c) used on detainees captured during Bush's term, who were (d) held in now-outlawed "secret prisons" or Gitmo.
President Obama's deputy national security advisor, John Brennan, confirmed that the death of bin Laden resulted from "a mosaic (of intelligence) appearing over time and by ... people who have been following bin Laden for many, many years."
This explains why 81% of Republicans give George W. Bush "at least some of the credit" for bin Laden's death. U.S. security forces tracked and were able to kill bin Laden through the use of the discredited, maligned and in some cases the discontinued terror-fighting policies and practices of Bush.
Just 35% of Democrats, the Washington Post says, think Bush deserves "at least some of the credit." Yet Obama took advantage of policies the left attacked as wrong, illegal and immoral.
"Enhanced interrogation techniques." The Post's David Ignatius, writes, "Some of the detainees (who gave information that led to bin Laden's location) were subjected to 'enhanced interrogation techniques,' the CIA's formal name for ... torture."
Gitmo and secret prisons, aka "black sites" (now closed by Obama). "The revelation," writes the Associated Press, "that intelligence gleaned from the CIA's so-called black sites helped kill bin Laden was seen as vindication for many intelligence officials who have been repeatedly investigated and criticized for their involvement in a program that involved the harshest interrogation methods in U.S. history."

The third guy on the recently published Reuters photos of the inside of the campound (photos leaked by a Pakistani official) is definitely the dead body of Khaled Bin Laden, Osamas son, that being the first visual and undeniable proof that Bin Laden was at that campound that night.

I din't agree with a lot of what W did ... but I knew he loved his country and was doing the best he could ... and was always going to have my back. I respect that. And him.
Keeping America safe for eight years meant a lot...

How can anyone blame Obama for something he inherited?

Obama’s biggest problem is credibility. He has lied repeatedly and now we're supposed to believe him that ‘he knows’ it was Bin Ladin? Baaaad track record on truth telling. He was a champion of releasing the Abu Graib photos. Wasn't he worried about inflaming the Muslims then?? Oh yeah, I get it. It was just another ‘political’ decision. One that would hurt the Military and Republicans. I am sickened at the way the Leftists/Democrats have politicized EVERYTHING. Including the recent attempt to launch the Space Shuttle, having Giffords and the Obamas in attendance. Is there ANY Dem with a conscience???

Looks like that illustration is giving Obama about 15%.

I had a thought... I know this is dangerous on its face... but I did have a thought... lonely and echoing in my head.
Since mccain caused Enhanced Interrogation Techniques to be abandoned because as mccain said, “They don't work”... then why not challenge mccain to a two minute waterboarding session and see if he can remain silent about his part in electing obama in 2008? If he talks... we start using them again.

President Bush has already made the definitive speech at Ground Zero.
I'll look forward to his remarks on September 11, 2011.

After the intel that we’ve gained while Bush’s policies were in effect, there’s no reason to suggest that McCain do that. He and prissy Lindsay have been proven wrong.
That, in and of itself, is like honeysuckle in the summer to me.
My husband was waterboarded...it works.
This event proves that to a fault.
