Can’t stand Buck’s son though. What an arrogant-sounding little man.

The portion of the game that we heard Chick call was much more exciting than actually watching it.

We used to do this all the time ...if the game was on TV but Chick or Vinny was only doing the radio...turn off the TV sound and listen to the Chick or Vinny radio play by play with the TV

Keunn also closed out Koufax's 1963 no-hitter vs the Giants. Amalfitano played for the Giants in that game too.

Most exciting moment of my youth...sat in the dark listening to the game with my mom...asked a friend who had a tape recorder to record the game after the 6th inning or so, but he let me down--he was an Angels fan.

Wonder if the recording of the whole game discovered and described in Jane Leavy's "Koufax" book will ever see the light of day. I asked her, and she said that at one time they were trying to put out a new edition of the book together with the entire recording, but it never came out to the best of my knowledge.
