When I mentioned Hillary’s power and authority, I was referring to her position in the room. She’s seated at the table with a laptop. She has more influence in that room than Obama does. I agree that her pose does not denote strength or power. I think she does look upset and scared. I think that it’s no accident that this particular photo was released. It makes her look bad. The One striking back at his rival?
I agree with you about Hilliary's position in the room. But to me in the photo, that is overshadowed by her hand to her face and the scared look on her face. She looks very upset and scared. You may be right, it may be retaliation by the One and/or his staff to humiliate her. That picture won't help her do her job as SecState.

You were correct the first time. That’s an Air Force Brigadier General (One Star), aviator with jump wings. Probably Air Force Academy graduate as many of them qualified with jump wings there. He’s a member of the Joint Staff because of the round badge on the left coat pocket. Interesting the others are in casual dress and he’s still in Class A uniform (coat on).

Nope, this is a picture of people watching something happening differently than what they expected.
They expected a snatch and grab. They got an hit. The chopper crash changed everything. What was supposed to be a nice hole card turned into an emergency.
That would explain the horrible response and message delivery over the past couple of days. No time to craft the message. It just happened and some house in Pakistan has a burnt US Chopper in their front yard. Kind of kills the element of secrecy,
