It is telling (IMO)
Okay, so the rumor is that Obama was overruled by Panetta, HC, Daley and the brass. That he was brought into the loop at the last minute right off the golf course as the mission was already underway... Well, his dress certainly supports that, but that has already been commented on. But check out something that I have noticed.
If you really look at where Obama is sitting it appears to me that the picture REALLY is worth a thousand words. Biden, General, Hillary and Gates ALL have personal computers in front of them and appear to have been long situated at the table. Obama appears to NOT have a computer or personal papers, etc and that his chair was pulled up along side those who had long been sitting there. Your thoughts?
And on a side note, Panetta is on record saying that it was a "kill mission" and that the photos "will" be released and the WH said it was a "capture or kill" mission and have now said that the photos, "will not" be released. Certainly, Paneta and the WH are not on the same page...
Uhhhhh.... Rush is just making my point regarding Panetta!!!

You need to give us a hint where the picture you want posted is located.
Had this conversation with my family last night as we looked at the pic. Obama IS NOT seated in a position of authority. In fact, he appears to be back among the spectators. Clinton, Biden, and Gates all have more authority in that room than he does. Imagine a similar photo taken of Bush. Could you imagine the President sitting where Obama is.
Also, look at the expression on his face. He’s stressed and worried. Almost confused. Now look at the others. With the exception of Clinton, they all project more strength and authority than Obama does.
I dont’ know in the rumors are true, but one thing I will say ferverntly - At the moment that that picture was taken, Obama had no power or authority in that room.
Obama smackdown of Hillary/Panetta?
Feels like it.
Has anyone IDed the mildly attractive woman in the back of the room?
Next step; frog-march him to Gitmo where we hold him as an enemy combatant.
That was my assumption. Obama is seated in the back corner on an uncomfortable chair. He doesn’t look happy. Everyone else has a computer, is alert, and looks as if they are about their business.
Maybe it makes sense to have the General seated at the head of the table, facing the screens at the other side of the room, if he is in charge of the operation. But normally, that’s where Obama would be seated—in the seat of honor at the head of the table. Or at the general’s right hand.
That’s certainly what Miss Manners would prescribe, at the dinner table OR the conference table.
He’s upset that he had to quit playing and come home.
Works for me, but you know that he could sacrifice a baby on the steps of the White House to Allah and every Democrat in America would still vote against his removal. The only option is to nominate a Reagan in 2012 and take him out in a landslide at the polls.
0bama? Looks like a poorly clued-in spectator ...
Or should I say Admiral? I’m not familiar with the very latest in dress uniforms. I suppose an Admiral might be in charge of a group of Seals.
Hillary looks presidential, in the middle of the action, while Obama is off to the side, crouching down in his seat.
He appears small by comparison.
He was likely called on the course by Jerrett when she found out what was going on. He was likely completely out of the loop and arrived after the mission was completed. Where is Jerrett?
