ROFL...To imagine the panic of some posters here on Sunday night/Monday about this carrying Obama to a second term. Well honestly, I didn’t think Obama was *this* incompetent.

This press conference has convinced me that Obama did not spearhead this takedown of OBL. Panetta went around him or dragged him along by threatening to leak that he missed the opportunity. Obama’s crew is mainly concerned with pandering to Islam & trying to illustrate to us what a leader Obama is. And politicizing this by going to Ground Zero to meet with a vetted pro-Obama audience.

Evidently the worst quote was improperly sourced to Obama, when it fact it came from GOP Rep Hal Rogers, who heads the House Intelligence Committee.
Rogers had best walk back that comment within 24 hours, or they’ll be finding a new committee chair, because his facts are horrible and the moral equivance is worse.
That said, Obama’s quotes about spiking the football and other asinine things Carney has said all day are going to ruin whatever minimal bounce this Empty Suit was ever going to get.
An earlier poster got it right: Obama could screw up a one-car funeral.
I was thinking there is NO WAY Obama would have gone to Ground Zero without making sure he’s going to get a huge welcome.
Lately even he and his handlers would know he’s likely to get boo’ed all the way.
