STOCKHOLM (AP) -- A new assessment of climate change in the Arctic shows the ice in the region is melting faster than previously thought and sharply raises projections of global sea level rise this century.
The report by the international Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Program, or AMAP, compiles the latest science on how climate change has impacted the Arctic in the past six years.
A summary of the key findings obtained by the AP on Tuesday shows Arctic temperatures during that period were the highest since measurements began in 1880.

This comes on the heels of the new report that it’s now SPRING!
It’s spring, that’s what happens.
Wow, with summer coming who would have guessed?
Did somebody forget to check their calender?...............Daylight Savings time?..............
Not this again...have they no shame?
Only problem is that the REAL experts who study sea level says that no rise is happening.
More fake science to promote the left’s agenda of making us pay for their pet projects and enrich the insiders who then fund the left.
Indeed last ice age still in thaw mode.
I think I’ve seen this movie before...
Gee, that means that the carpets in Al Gore’s seaside mansion in California may get wet. Too bad.
WE ARE DOOMED. . . . . . . .
Yeah, and according to Algore this summer will be hotter than it has been all year long...
Forgive me if I don’t buy any of the crap these so-called scientist are shoveling anymore.
Its all about those government $$$ and they will gladly trash their credibility for more $$$.
They did say Arctic didn’t they. The Arctic is all ocean. Um, if the ice melts how does that make the sea level rise? Now if they want to talk about ice melting on land, such as Antarctica and running into the ocean, then yes, sea levels would rise.
I was out in Colorado at the end of April in the Denver / Boulder area, the locals informed me that they had record snowfall when I commented that the surrounding mountains were covered in the stuff from top to bottom. They told me the “all time” snowfall record of 504 inches on the ski slopes had been broken and that they were currently up to 540 inches. On the plane flight home, the passenger beside me had just finished skiing in the area and claimed it was excellent skiing due to the perfect snow.
Meanwhile, I get back to Texas and we get blasted by a temperature drop to 45 degrees to start May off with. Global warming only exists in the minds of the educated idiots trying to continue the Gore scam to rake in more grants and money. If anything, Time magazine will need to start recycling the frozen penquin covers if the current trend keeps up.
This has been thoroughly debunked at:

Not really. Substantial parts of the heaviest ice pack are over land: Baffin Island, Greenland, and elsewhere. Melt from that ice will raise ocean levels. But the thing to remember is that we're still in a warming phase after the most recent ice age (there have been many previously.)
Key here is that humans have nothing to do with global climate. Global warming and cooling are natural processes, far beyond human control. The "global warming/climate change" zealots are exploiting general ignorance about those processes. It's all about world socialism and economic gain for the Gore-bots.
This is not just win an arguement, it's about taking your money by force and using it to enslave America.
This is important to the left as they gain control. Utilities are already spending $Billions to put scrubbing equipment for that nasty CO2 polutant. The little utility I work for is spending $750 million on CO2 scrubbing equipment. The money that comes out of your pocket is going to get people like Obama in power to finish off the good guys.
Obama and the left need this and the right argues instead of saying BS. These people are traitors and Americans are acting like idiots as they complete tightening the noose around America.
