Make no mistake OBL was Assasinated and thats a good thing I am glad that we finally got the left to agree that a President who orders assisnation or enhanced interrogation techniques even though those things may be against the Geneva convention that it is the Presidents authority to do so....
or is this its OK for Obama to order assasination but not for Bush to order waterboarding? is that it? Seems fitting that the left decides when to use standards and when not too glad we are all straight on that....

Probably should have released it earlier; the longer they waited the more potential fodder for the conspiracy theorists and Muslim deniers. I’m guessing the Administration will try to trickle information out from now until Nov. 2012, just to try to keep this fresh in voters’ minds.

What are the best, foolproof ways of proving that photos aren’t fake?
I simply don’t understand all the hand-wringing about this photo. We saw Mussolini hanging by his heels, Hitler’s supposed charred corpse, Goering’s lifeless corpse, a bloody Tojo in his bed, hell, they still have Mao and Lenin on display...we want to see our enemies dead. Release it and let them fear us.
Only regret on this is that they didn’t get to hang him upside down like el Duce, have pig fat poured over him and his body set aflame.
I may have seen a real photo of the corpse, but I don’t want to get anyone in trouble. If this one is released, the photo is bathed in a green light, there is an American soldier standing over the corpse to Bin Laden’s left. The main wound is above OBL’s right eye, smaller wound probably over the left. Beard neatly trimmed.
Just more “dithering” by Obama. The man CAN’T make a decision on his own. Now some people will think it was delayed to be photoshopped. Our wonderful, clueless administration dithering again.

Statement concerning President Obama's involvement in operations against Osama Bin Laden
There has widespread speculation as to the exact reason why no photos of the operations have been released.
The reason was due to national security and operational security concerns.
But after consultation with his national security team and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the White House can reveal that President Obama was not only the one who approved of the operation, he lead the operations.
Further not only did the President lead the operations, he was the one who killed Bin Laden.
The President hopes that this information and the accompanying photograph will lay to rest the "sideshow" created by Fox News and Conservative Talk Radio.
