>> It looks like the Bloc and Liberals made a huge mistake in voting to bring down the government. Epic miscalculation. Forcing voters to endure a fourth election in seven years? I'll say. <<

Bloc Quebecois & the Canadian Liberal Party must be taking advise from the California Republican Party about what to do when the opposition runs the legislature.

The left really messed up but calling this election. They cooked up some “contempt of Parliament” BS as an excuse to bring down the government. They thought they could shame the country into voting for them. Epic fail.

The left is in disarray. On DU the Liberals and NPD supporters are feuding and blaming each other.

NPD had to become “Bloc lite” in their promises to Quebec. That could alienate the rest of country.

The insane Green leader won her seat, beating a Harper cabinet minister. But silver lining, a stronger Green party means more vote splitting on the left.

Harper is gonna cut off public funding for the parties which is expected to especially hurt the liberals. The Conservatives are the only party that fundraises effectively.
