Former Vice President Dick Cheney joined his former colleague Donald Rumsfeld in proudly declaring the death of Osama bin Laden to be a huge victory for America. Cheney also gave Obama an unqualified congratulations for his handling of the situation and praised the courage and dedication of the military.
Cheney jubilantly (well, as jubilant as Cheney gets) declared: "It really is a great day..."

Look, Obama the blind squirrel found an acorn. A really big acorn, but he found it nonetheless. Cheney is right to offer congratulations; this is a great day for America.
If Republicans start grumbling because it didn’t happen on our watch, we’re REALLY going to look petty. Give Obama his day, and move on. Its a looong looong way till November 2012.
I think this is hilarious. Every time a Republican congratulates Obama, leftists and liberals gnash their teeth horribly.
Altho Obama may have given the order, my praise remains for the CIA, the intelligence community and our unfailing great military!
I tell you now, that I think of it:
Bin Laden might still be alive if only he had used Life Lock.

Gitmo and "secret prison" rendition, acting unilaterally, acting w/o permission on sovereign territory of another nation, executing a targeted assassination, harsh interrogations, warrantless wiretaps, etc., etc., etc.
That’s what you would expect from people who care about the country as opposed to their own political futures.

Bush is a very gracious man, even if you don’t like his politics. He certainly doesn’t punctuate every sentence with me, me, me like the golf obsessed narcissist we have in the WH now.
All they can do is say the most vile things about Bush, when he so properly came out and congratulated Obama in a heartful manner.
I’d love to do a photoshop of Obama saying, I killed Obama without even missing my tee time!
