WASHINGTON (AFP) – Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is dead, and President Barack Obama will announce his death, nearly 10 years after the September 11 attacks in a televised address, a senior US official told AFP.
The official said on condition of anonymity that Bin Laden was dead, but did not provide details of how his death occurred.
Obama was imminently to address Americans in a highly unusual Sunday night appearance on television.

Considering that der Fuehrer has not changed the policies or effort from what Bush laid out it will be interesting to see if he gives credit where it is due; to the intelligence and military operatives on the ground who have been on the pursuit for ten years. I would not have given credit to Bush if it happened during his watch and I doubt that he would have taken the credit. B.O. can take the credit for all I care because it will make him an even bigger terrorist target than Bush was. If we can finally find Bin Laden’s hiding place after ten years of hard work it isn’t going to take that long for the terrorists out there to find der Fuehrer and make an attempt. They just have to look on the nearest golf course.
He also got almost twice as many soldiers killed in 2 yrs in afgan. to proove a point.

Listening to “O” now and still want to puke. Obama reminds me of the little cartoon character who talks big, runs and hides when things get tough, then when others whip the bad guy, he comes out of his hidie hole, throws out his chest and says...”Well! I guess WE showed Him!”
It i still a good reason to celebrate MAY DAY every year! Or maybe celebrate Osama’s death at Easter! No resurection for him!

During December 2003, the military were certainly using lots of nice Daisy Cutters and I happen to believe Bin Laden was in the wrong place at the right time and became dust in one of the caves that was hit where our military thought he was holding out. Most likely Bin Laden has been dust since December 2003. Fox just showed a clip of President Bush saying “We will smoke him out of his cave.”
I believe our military did exactly that in 2003.
Now it is announced that Laden was killed a week ago? So Ovomit had a week to get this speech ready on his teleprompter so he can take credit for Laden’s death.

Obama clearly said it was TODAY he authorized it. Do we have time machines???
Because if it was a week ago, this is a pretty big boo-boo, and makes him look kind of out of the loop.
