Detroit needs residents. Immigrants want to live in America.
Michael Bloomberg says he's got a simple solution for both needs -- send all new immigrants to Detroit.
In a novel approach to immigration reform, the New York City mayor said Sunday that if he could have his way, he'd use the immigrant workforce to jump-start the Motor City's economy by requiring Detroit residency.

People have been leaving the city of Detroit and other parts of MI in HOARDS precisely because there are no jobs. Industry isn't leaving because there's no workforce.

I guess Bloomberg wants a giant internment camp called Detroit. Lets create a country within a country balkenizing us further. And where pray tell would all the jobs come from? Like the only problem with Detroit is that the population has dropped.
Only a liberal could suggest something like this and not get crucified for it. What an idiot.
Bloomberg’s proposal would make sense only if there were thousands of jobs available in Detroit, but no one to fill them.
That’s not the case, and Bloomberg knows it.
So let me tell you what Bloomberg is really trying to say here: “Immigrants, please go to Detroit and get on the welfare rolls there. New York cannot afford you.”
As i live in New York state i’ll have to send Bloomberg a thank you note.
New York will someday be called the Detroit of the East. That place is a Third World S***hole peopled with semi-literate boors who are absolutely convinced that they constitute some sort of master race. All that is needed for New York to turn to dust is to refuse their demands for handouts next time their irresponsible and greedy denizens cause another financial crisis.
Having immigrants coming from third world, lawless, rat holes were Muslims hold unusually strong influence on the local culture and the corrupt political class throws a few crumbs to the natives to keep them in line...it’s just like back home in %&%^&$(^*(^*%$#&%#&istan!
