“It depends entirely on where they come from as well as the circumstances and type of legal entry they’ve made. For instance, there are large populations of Somali immigrants that were permitted entry on a humanitarian basis during the mid to late 90s (and even some later). Those new residents have nearly bankrupted their new home cities and counties.”
And there are more insidious effects as well: my city has about 75K Somali refugees, nearly all Muslims, collected over the past 15 years. In the same period, Muslim radicalism in the area has increased considerably, including a large mosque a block from my apartment and a Muslim-on-white stabbing just down the street.
