Just got a flash on the 'puter that NorthCom has upped the threat condition to FPCON Bravo. Not sure what triggered it, but it's the first elevation in some time. Watch the news and maintain your SA, folks.

I can confirm this is true. My wife went to work this morning at the Air Force Academy and was informed as she entered the base of Bravo. Was asked to “cooperate if necessary” and told to go straight to her work area....
She also stated that security forces person told her they no information on the reason for the increase.

my husband was watching the news here in the Philippines and he warned me to be careful when I go out to shop.
There are a lot of retired military living here, and the Philippines has been waging a long war against Alqaeda funded and trained terrorists...most of it is in the south, but there is a worry that some folks who “converted” to Islam in Saudi and came back are sleeper cells waiting to bomb places...
