I hate those stupid make the president out to be a clown functions where the president stands up and tells jokes.

I do too. I've read they've all gone since Coolidge although I'm unsure each has gone every year.

Palin said journalism’s nerd prom didn’t have the same appeal for her as presidential hopefuls who attended, like Donald Trump, Newt Gingrich and Jon Huntsman. “You really see evidence of that influence out there of — you know — the celebrity, how the news is, and the political arena, and how it all kind of meshes together. That’s what the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is,” she said.’

Odd, what they made up she said, they did not put into “ “ marks, but did so for what she actually said? S/off

I wonder how many people see the power in those words, and the promise? I do not believe in coincidences, she chose those words as a signal to all those who have the ears to hear.

You are right. When I read 'I choose life', that Scripture immediately came to mind and knew she deliberately chose them with the promise of 'Life/Blessings'. I carried it one step further - what she didn't choose 'death/curses' at the WH Correspondence Dinner. What is going on there - tearing others down and propaganda pushers? Once again, she separated herself as, IMO, her choices/decisions as a President would BLESS our country.

Thought provoking.

Hope Sarah is aware the my (Indiana) just signed into laws 'to de-fund Planned Parenthood' and to 'enact school choice' and 'teacher merit conditions'.

I applaud Mitch Daniels for these accomplishments, something, he said upon signing, he had been wanting to accomplish for many, many years.

I am starting to believe that our great States, one at a time, are going to circumvent and put the hammer of justice to creepy federal 'social' rules and regs that impede the voice of the voters and strive to put the States into chains.

Those are three biggies! Good for him and I applaud the voters of Indiana that they, also, chose life by voting for him. We all have our part to bring our country back.

Yep. Palin should stop going to the WHCD and Gridiron dinners. She should see them as entering enemy territory and so be prepared to hit back....hard. Why would you want to socialize around people who viciously attack you on a daily basis just to stroke THEIR egos?

“There’s nothing negative about being “anti-abortion”. There’s no reason not to embrace that characterization.”

But pro-life is better, which is why LMSM replaces the word.

I don't have a problem with the President attending the Correspondents' Dinner, and joking around with them. Sometimes it's a way for the President to poke back at them in return for their poking at him all the time, or at least the Republican Presidents.

I remember when Reagan was President, and the MSM was all the time carping about Nancy Reagan's wardrobe. One year, at the Dinner, Nancy came out and did a short musical bit to the song "Second Hand Rose". It was fun to watch, and it was a terrific poke at the MSM.

Sarah would have a LOT of ammo, in the figurative sense, to use against the MSM.
