HOUSTON - He's being called a rapist in blue: A Houston Police officer could be going to prison for a very long time.
It was last year when 26-year-old Demetrie Dixon was arrested for sexually assaulting at least 2 prostitutes near West 34th Street in northwest Houston.
Dixon, a 2-year veteran of the Houston Police Department, used his authority to detain and sexually assault the hookers, investigators said.
Friday morning, a Harris County jury returned a guilty verdict on 2 counts of Sexual Assault against the rookie cop.
Prosecutors paraded a string of street walkers into the court to tell how they were victimized by Dixon.

It certainly depends on a number of things, most important, did we read your name in the press for beating down a fellow American or for any other host of crimes regularly committed by those in the LEO community? Did you engage in perjury or trump up false testimony, bogus reports or in any other way report things differently with the intent of defrauding another American? How many family pets did you gun down while in uniform?
If you ran a clean career, we thank you for your service and wish that you are a role leader for others that follow you. If not, you deserve our scorn and rebuke.
The rampant thuggery, fraud, criminality and sheer incompetence of the modern day militarized police force ought to cause every human with an decency within them to pause and reconsider the trust and authority that is constantly being abused today.
