A New U.S. Energy Plan: Sell Oil Reserves, Use Profits to Invest in Clean Tech

Presidents and politicians of all political affiliations have said for decades the U.S. must find an energy source that can serve as a viable alternative to crude oil imports from foreign nations -- a fair number of which aren't exactly gushing supporters of the red, white and blue.

The Center for Amerikan Progress is nothing but a front organization for every subversive, traitor, Communist, hairy-legged tree hugger, and anti-American garden gnome within our borders. And quite a few more overseas. And just like every other cancer foreign and domestic, they've become quite adept at crying everything from 'Racism!' to 'McCarthyism!' if they're called on the carpet to truly account for themselves. If George Washington were alive, he'd garrison the lot of them in one big stockade, and hang the most vocal instigators up by their heels.

I'd rather like to think that somewhere out there, there's another George Washington getting ready to put boot to stirrup and lead the charge.

If indeed there are other viable sources of energy, the oil companies are already looking into it, because they are already aware that, even if we could never run out of oil, it won’t always remain a viable and marketable commodity.

They have already spent billions trying to figure it out.
