NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Guns, abortion and Donald Trump: Three topics so controversial that Groupon doesn't want its brand anywhere near them.
The daily-deals website said late Thursday that it will pull its ads from the website of Donald Trump's television show "The Apprentice" to distance itself from the "political criticism" swirling around Trump and his presidential ambitions.
"Enough consumers have contacted us to warrant ensuring that we don't place ads on the 'Apprentice' homepage in the future," the company said in a post on its blog. "It's the same reason we don't run deals on guns or abortion ... this isn't a political statement, it's avoiding intentionally upsetting a segment of our customers."

Yep.
Their decision signals nothing outwardly political, except the desire to appear apolitical, and that’s fine with me.
Groupon is just organized moonbattery who has no problem with ads concerned with saving the whales or the Brazilian rain forest but won’t touch the Right to Self Defense or the Right to Life as they’re just too contoversial.
They don’t mind contoversy as long as it’s their flavor of controversy.
Big lib company centered in Chicago, tied to the Democrat party...
so any business person that dares to speak out is going to face this problem. That is not healthy for debate. Anyone who is not a socialist is essentially silenced in this scenario. We also have to make our voices heard, too. Especially since it is traditionally conservatives who spend the money on sponsors. The 22 year old hipsters writing on behalf of Soros mostly don’t spend the money that older traditional right and center-right families do.
A lot of selling folks have dropped out of Groupon.
These same Soros groups were relentless attacking Bush.

Well fine.
So then Groupon has also completely washed their hands of any and all LEFTIST entities with which they might appear connected?
ALL of them?
I wonder if he has already got his notice of the pending IRS audits of all his businesses and his personal finances.
Honest question here... Not really specifically to the person I’m responding to but just anyone who happens to read it.
If Soros really is this evil bastard that everyone says, why the F-— have none of us put a bullet in his head already?
Oh No ! Pulling ads from a website ! . It’s the end ! It will make room for the ones in waiting.
and then his bio:
The only businessician in a family of artists, Jason Child has run 14 marathons, each one a kinetic sculpture of physical art. With his wife and two children strapped to his back, Jason also has skied down Austria's toughest mountain without slipping and falling into a coma even once. Before fighting off a midlife crisis and joining Groupon, Jason worked as CFO and VP of Finance for Amazon.com's international division, and he has lived and worked in Munich, Tokyo, and Seattle. Jason enjoys traveling with his family, and one day hopes to complete a whirlwind tour of every Groupon country either for business purposes or with a juggling troupe composed of his cousins and father.
LOL
ping.
So, does this still make Trump a plant?
no don’t forget only 19% self identify as liberal/leftist/socialist/democrat hardly his demographic.
The majority is conservative with the balance being divided into “don’t care” and left wing.
so trump lost nothing.
Screw Groupon. It’s a racket anyway. Check out some of the ROI studies on Groupon. It sounds good and drums up a lot of seemingly new biz, but the bottom line doesn’t change. Add that to the fact you can get too much business and alienate potential new customers. Groupon should decrease their 50% cut to around 10 to 15% to make the ROI worth the trouble.
