Good conspiracy theories don't die — they simply adapt.
Shortly after the White House released President Obama's long-form birth certificate earlier this week — intended to offer more proof that he is a natural-born United States citizen — conspiracy theorists were working hard to "debunk" the document from the state of Hawaii.
By Thursday, members of the so-called "birther" movement was asking at least a dozen new questions about the president's first days in the world. First off, the document is labeled "Certificate of Live Birth," which is the same as the label on the shorter-form document that Obama released during the presidential campaign, when these issues first surfaced. The online magazine Slate quoted Sharon Guthrie, legislative director for a Texas state legislator who has introduced birther legislation, as saying, "What I've seen online, what they produced today, still says `certificate of live birth' across the top. We want to see a 'birth certificate.'"
Others insist that the certificate is forged. They claim that by using photo-editing software to examine the PDF file the White House released, it becomes clear that the document consists of several separate layers, indicating that it has somehow been manipulated.
Other quibbles get even more detailed: Why is the "Date Accepted" on the certificate four days later than the "Birth Date"? Obama's father's race is listed as "African," but many argue that in 1961 the more likely term would have been "negro." The word "Caucasian" under the listing for Obama's mother's race looks too perfect to have been done with a typewriter from that time.

There is NOTHING real about this critter or the faked and forged “document” that was “released” two days ago.

Well, stupid, if you doubt it, how about trying it yourself. Download the .pdf file from the White House website and have a look at it with photo-editing software.
Now, then. Are they lying about it?
This claims to be a picture of a paper birth certificate. But there are, indeed, layers. Furthermore, parts of it are made with color copying, and parts with black and white copying, so there's no way in hell it wasn't manipulated.

There is a simple, inescapable, unassailable, incontrovertible reason: he can't be trusted.
If he told me it was noon o'clock, I would look outside to be sure it was daylight.
Can somebody answer a very simple question? Is it standard practice when digitizing public records to attempt to extract the relevant text parts on a form and then place them against a modern green background? Can any technology perform that reliably, especially when working with microfiche? Has ANYBODY else ever received their BC where the state digitized the original document, extracted the printed elements on the form as well as the hand written elements on the paper and then electronically layered them onto a green backdrop?
I’ve yet to see an answer to these questions.
Frankly, I’ve never heard of any state doing that, I don’t know of any technology that can do that reliably, and I’ve never received a document like that.
Has anybody asked Hawaii if this is standard practice for them? Did they do it? Or did somebody on the Obama / WH staff do it? Has anybody asked HI about their current protocols for releasing public documents like this?
Why didn’t he release a simple photostat or just a photo of somebody holding the original paper copy?
I’ve never seen anything like it either. When I heard the news that 0bummer was releasing his long form, I expected to see something like the Nordyke twins long form.

Well, I suppose there will be disagreements. I’ve seen those comments you speak of. But I find it impossible to believe. Yes, layering might occur in a .jpg file.
But at least one kind of layering consists of a black and white copy with all the boxes and printing superimposed on a color copy of the paper used to print out COLBs.
How do you explain that? Those theories you mention simply don’t fly. To begin with, it’s as if a completely transparent sheet of paper, rolled at the edge as if taken from a bound volume, was laid on top of the colored official background paper.
Yes, it’s possible that that might have been the case while the Hawaiian clerks were making the COLB. But the White House says it has the COLB. That’s a piece of paper. So, how come it has that very strange combination still? You DON’T get it if you copy the COLB, even if you might get it while constructing it.
Then there are further complications. Not just two layers, one color and one black and white, but numerous layers pieced together.
I think the very least we need to demand is that document experts be allowed to examine this COLB. The paper COLB which Obama now claims to have.
It’s not just a forgery, it’s an obvious forgery—whether or not a real document exists anywhere.

Well, we've seen the birth certificate, an it appears that he was born in Hawaii.
That means that Arnold Schwarzenegger can be President.

Fair enough. Still, one of the explanations I’ve read, stated that it must have been idiots who did the scanning of the doc, and frankly, most of us, and I venture to say, most of political science graduate interns who would be assigned to perform such work for the WH, belong to the category, when it comes to using complex software programs, that few ever manage, or have to master. So, yes, this remains an open issue. But let us hurry up, anyway.
The document is unquestionably an “assembled” document created on a computer, not a photocopy or scan of an actual paper document as some might conclude by looking at it. However we learned nothing to prove that the information in the document is correct or accurate, only that it was what was assembled into the pdf file.
From right out of the gate this guy either lies or shows complete shoddy journalism. The short form has a "Certification Of Live Birth" header whereas the document just released has a "Certificate Of Live Birth" header. I mean seriously. These guys really treat the general public as idiots.

That is part of what bugs me about all this.
First Obama had his BC (as stated in one of his stupid books), then officials in HI had seen it, then they couldn’t find it, then it didn’t exist, then last week BO calls and orders up a couple of copies.
