Smoking Gun: Will Release Of Obama's Purported Birth Certificate Give Rise To New "Certer" Movement?

This morning’s White House release of President Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate will, of course, do little to derail the “birther” movement, which will now analyze the document with the kind of verve previously directed toward those Texas Air National Guard memos faxed to CBS from that Kinko’s in Abilene.

So here’s a few nutty points about the birth certificate sure to be seized upon by the nonbelievers:

I noticed that the, “H” ,in the word, “Elizabeth,” is missing its left lower leg. This is not the case in the name Hussein in Obama’s long form.

And so now everyone knows (according to this "document") that his father carried British citizenship and there is no way in hell he can be a natural born citizen.

When is Congress going to act on this? The focus now turns to them.

Only if he is not an American would they possibly do anything. Or if he committed SSN fraud. Those are the only real avenues valid to pursue.

That small cap M probably was probably pre-printed on the form so that the nurse, or clerk, would only have to add A or P for AM or PM. I still think the form supplied is a fake.

To clear this up he could simply allow the original form to be released with reporters or Trump in attendance.

I will never accept a PDF as proof unless it is posted on an official site set up for that purpose. Courts for example. Whitehouse.gov is not the least bit reliable. This proves nothing. The real form presented to unbiased reporters would. This is simply not that. No seal no back side or notations that are found on real birth certificates. No way to even confirm this number belongs to Barack.

Thanks for posting this, the document still looks shady,
1. Why doesn’t her signature fit?
2. The child would have been Barack Hussein Obama JUNIOR, not II as it shows, at least according to most rules I’ve seen.
3. I don’t think they ever married, since he was married back in Kenya; how about a marriage certificate or license?

That cannot be done by a period typewriter, as far as I aware. It is too small. You get Caps (Look at OBAMA above) or lower case.

This point needs verified because...

You are most likely right. But then he is definitely qualified as President.

African was a valid race in many states I remember seeing it on forms all the time. African is what Obama is mostly Arabic only 12% negro. But African meant from Africa as opposed to negro meaning black from any other country including America. I saw this on forms from this period or shortly after. We even discussed the difference in a class at High School I remember because I thought it silly. Actually I thought race silly altogether. Why should it matter? But really African and Negro just meaning where you were born. I mean negros that went to Africa had African not negro children. Stupid.
