This morning’s White House release of President Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate will, of course, do little to derail the “birther” movement, which will now analyze the document with the kind of verve previously directed toward those Texas Air National Guard memos faxed to CBS from that Kinko’s in Abilene.

So here’s a few nutty points about the birth certificate sure to be seized upon by the nonbelievers:

Obama’s people have had over 3 years to FORGE 336 characters/certificate marks. So you have over three days per letter to work on it. It needs to be scrutinized and verified. It legitimate to ask other questions given the delay.

The new doc release says on top Certificate of Live Birth, or COLB.

We have been demanding, and are demanding, and will always demand the Long Form Birth Certificate, or BC.

COLB does NOT equal BC.

I think the document that excluded info about the hospital, etc. was the *Certification* of Live Birth (COLB). The problem with the COLB wasn’t the name, but the info excluded and the fact that it didn’t have any signatures from 1961.

You (and Trump) confuse the terms.

Obama released prior to this a CertifiCATION of Live Birth.

Today he released a CertfiCATE of Live Birth. (That is the official name for the ‘long form birth certificate’.)

Good comment though on Smoking Gun:

No one has noticed the “M” in P.M. is a small font of a capital M. That would have been impossible on a manual typewriter. The keys could have created only a capital ‘M’ or small ‘m’, but not a smaller version of a capital M. Just sayin’.

It’s responses like this that put Obama back in the White House for 4 more years. The birthers were complete nutjobs and made the rest of us look bad. I’m just thrilled Obama was stupid enough to release it today and not in another 6 months.

At least now the birther movement can die on the vine and not have nearly the impact on the election. If he would have released this next year, it could have provided him with more wind at his sails.

But enough of the conspiracy nonsense.

Since the beginning of this issue the real question has been ignored. What is the legal definition of the term ‘natural born citizen’ in the Constitution? Can you have two foreign born parents (but be born in America) and still be President? Or one foreign parent? Or do you need to be born of two American citizen parents as has been the definition for most of country’s history and was so at the time of our Founding.

This question you will notice is never addressed by the MSM at all, nor by even many alternative media outlets as well. The birth certificate issue has been set up as a smoke screen in order to deflect from this, the real question that needs to be answered.

A lawyer in New Jersey has tried to pursue this question legally but of course to no avail. It is an extremely important issue and should not be discarded or ridiculed. Here is his website explaining the issue:

We have today a democrat political party that has objectives to maintain open borders and grant amnesty to illegal’s entering this nation. This same political party would also like to eliminate the electoral college in order to have the mass population centers (cities) rule the voting process, and now also we have a movement on the left to do away the ‘natural born citizen’ requirement in the Constitution thus allowing someone with foreign allegiances to become President. This is a prescription for the demise of our nation.

If you care about this nation and the rule of law then I implore you to address the real issue involving Presidential eligibility under the Constitution.

Actually, no "Texas Air National Guard" memos were faxed to CBS from that Kinkos - only cheeseball laughable fakes that fooled nobody except Dan Rather, his staff, and apparently, The Smoking Gun.

Couldn’t help noticing that the Nordyke births occurred the day AFTER the Nordyke births. Why aren’t their certificate numbers AFTER his also? I smell a rat.
