White House press secretary Jay Carney was asked today why President Obama did not give a statement on Easter. He laughed it off. Barack Obama released statements for the Muslims holidays of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, the Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha last year. Just last month he released a statement for the Persian Nowruz holiday.

Carney also scoffed at media reports calling out the White House for not releasing a statement commemorating Easter on Sunday, explaining Obama and his family attended church services in Washington.
“The president went to church yesterday, it was well-covered. I’m not sure if we put out a statement or not. He obviously personally celebrated Easter with his family,” he said.

Do you know how DemocRAT Presidents have observed Easter in recent years? On Easter Sunday in 1995, President Clinton called Monica Lewinski to service him immediately after returning from Easter services at church. On Easter Sunday in 2000, Janet Reno ordered that Elian Gonzales be taken by force from relatives in Miami and sent to Communist Cuba.
Obviously, Easter doesn’t matter to Democrats in D.C. and hasn’t for a while.
I don't know about you, but I had a chill go down my spine when I read about the massive lightning strikes over the White House on Easter Night.

No birth certificate; two social security numbers, one in 1975 in Hawaii when he worked in an ice cream shop, another issued two years later in Connecticut, where at that time, he’d never been.
No college transcripts. No college applications. Where did he get the money? Rumors are flying that he flunked out of schools in California and NY. How did he get into Harvard Law? What were his SATs and LSATs? Bush released all of his college stuff. Why can’t Obama?
We don’t know who this guy is.
If the President’s Press Secretary isn’t sure whether they put out a statement or not, he should be fired for incompetence.
That pretty much confirms that the church visit was nothing more than a campaign stop.

Yeh he went to another Whitey sucks, down with Whitey church. I guess as a Muslim he figures that doesn’t really count as attending a Christian church. He’s right.
When did you ever think you would live to see the day that the President of the United States would attend a church that preaches hate? Its beyond insane.
