"Why would this be a black swan? A black swan, in Talebs nomenclature, is an exceedingly rare event that almost no one expects or plans for." I wondered the same.
I think 'Black Swan' is being over used these days just as 'Paradigm Shift' was a few years ago.

Gold and silver is not will not and will never be in a bubble because they are the true money of the world...
I guess you don't remember the 1980s.

Where did you go to buy your silver?

I used Monex. They seemed the cheapest but they're a little bit of a hassle. #1 it takes about 4 weeks to get your stuff. That's right 4 weeks. Apparently the "float" of your money is part of the price. You do get it though. They will push you to buy on margins. That's where there biggest profit is. Don't do it . By leveraging money you supposedly can control higher rates of profits. There are a multitude of people out there who have lost a lot of money doing this. Just buy your gold/silver and go on.

www.coloradogold.com was recommended by many people to me. Family outfit, reliable as a clock, you talk to the owners, they say what they mean and mean what they say. 100 oz minimum, but now for SE the minimum is 500 oz. I think they sell half bags of junk silver, otherwise a bag is $1000 face value. I can’t afford any now at these prices, bought a little when it was much cheaper, wish I’d bought more.

Indeed. Silver and gold spiked FOR A REASON. And they declined FOR A REASON.
Can you tell us whether you think any of those reasons apply now?

I remember the 80’s...
That was the birth of paper silver, which is what the bankster’s have been using to manipulate the price of silver ever since...

Or “rained” :)
Silver will start @ $47.81/oz spot Monday morning 4/25/2011. Current speculation models suggest a sell @ $68 sometime this summer. Wouldn’t be surprised if it goes above $68. Don’t buy gold, silver still smokin’.
Teehee, wonder what the Hunt brother’s are up to these day’s.
Have fun!

The author might be short silver and is hoping silver will go down so his clock does not get cleaned.
Indeed! If memory serves, silver lagged behind gold for some time and is only now playing catch up.
