A Baltimore County McDonald's owner announced on Saturday afternoon that an employee who taped the violent beating of a customer — a video that went viral Friday — had been fired.
"My first and foremost concern is with the victim," franchise owner Mitchell McPherson said in a statement, adding that action might be taken against other restaurant workers as well. "I'm as shocked and disturbed by this assault as anyone would be. The behavior displayed in the video is unfathomable and reprehensible."
The video of a beating the Rosedale restaurant went viral Friday, garnering hundreds of thousands of views on websites and prompting the fast-food giant to issue a statement condemning the incident.

The three-minute clip was apparently first posted on YouTube, then taken down by administrators who said it violated the site's policies. But it popped back up on other sites and was ultimately linked from the popular Drudge Report, which gave it top billing for much of the day.
County police confirmed that the attack occurred April 18 in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave. Police said the 14-year-old girl has been charged as a juvenile, while charges were pending against an 18-year-old woman.
Equality Maryland said the victim is a transgender woman and called on state Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler to step in and investigate the case as a hate crime. Police and prosecutors said they did not know whether the victim is a transgender woman.

If she had a sex change operation to female, then "where is she supposed to go?" makes a lot of sense.
The deal with transgenders is that it takes a long time, as much as a year or two, depending on how much money they have, for the transition to take place.
They start by taking lots of the other gender’s hormones, which in men strongly reduces their facial hair growth, changes their voice somewhat, and causes them to start to grow breasts. (I’ll add that they take so much that their urine is almost toxic medical waste, loaded with hormones that get into the public water system.) After some months of this they change clothing to start imitating the other gender.
Only after this part is over do they actually get surgery to give them the appearance of changed genitalia. So for a year or more they will look like a woman, but still have a penis.
In this case, I suspect that she went into the ladies room at the McDonald’s, and the other woman saw the penis and got very upset about it.
If this is the case, it presents an interesting problem for portraying the assault as a hate crime, because these women likely have little or no knowledge of transgenderism, and thought that a man was committing a serious misdemeanor or possibly a felony as a sex offender.
Put another way, if a police officer sees two men with guns in their hands emerging from a bank with what appears to be sacks of cash, and he shoots them, it does not matter that they were actors portraying a bank robbery, for there was no way for the cop to know that.

Read all the stories at the baltimore sun about this thing, not one place does it say the she/he walked into the bathroom, actually it says they started the beating at the bathroom door, and she/he says they spit in her face as she was leaving the bath room. And she/he it and her twin brother says she has no male parts anymore. Now you are informed.
Most people still don't know about this incident, so today I related it to my wife (mid-40s). Her first, instinctive response was "He had it coming". After I explained about the kicking while down, etc., she recanted a bit - but it is clear that women want no transgender males in "their" private space.
I've heard of similar responses from women in the workplace where one of the guys decides to jump the gender barrier. Very ugly stuff, threats of termination, counter-threats of withering lawsuits - all because some idiot wants to slice Mr. Happy off. The usual result is a "unisex" bathroom that only the freak uses.
While I condemn the ghetto violence displayed in that video, it doesn't bother me one bit that women are pushing back on this issue.
At your link, there is a statement that she/he was going TO the restroom. IF that is the case, she/he never even went IN the bathroom!?

Look, I don’t give a good $hit whether the victim was a man, a woman, or someone in between. What happened was unconscionable and criminal. I’ve been a Freeper for a good number of years, but when I read some of the posts suggesting that he/she somehow brought it upon him/herself, I feel as though I’m at DU. Moreover, most, if not all, of the fast food restrooms I’ve been in have been one-person deals. Whenever, the “mens room” in my local Dunkins is occupied, I liberate the ladies room. I guess I deserve a whuppin’ for that.

I would expect a McD’s in a big city to have multiple stalls in it’s ladies’ room. The cracks between the stalls usually allow for peeping.....and that is what he is - a peeping tom dressed in woman’s clothing. A pervert.
I wouldn’t beat the crap out of him, but I would give him a piece of my mind. I would probably let the girls get a few licks in before coming to my senses and telling them to hightail it outa there as I was calling 911.
I bet you that you have probably talked to men that have had this done and you had no ideal that she was a guy at one time. Over thirty years ago i knew an insurance agent that just fell off the face of the earth, she called her wife from the hospital and told her, he was a she, talk about a shocked woman. LOL
