A Baltimore County McDonald's owner announced on Saturday afternoon that an employee who taped the violent beating of a customer — a video that went viral Friday — had been fired.
"My first and foremost concern is with the victim," franchise owner Mitchell McPherson said in a statement, adding that action might be taken against other restaurant workers as well. "I'm as shocked and disturbed by this assault as anyone would be. The behavior displayed in the video is unfathomable and reprehensible."
The video of a beating the Rosedale restaurant went viral Friday, garnering hundreds of thousands of views on websites and prompting the fast-food giant to issue a statement condemning the incident.

The three-minute clip was apparently first posted on YouTube, then taken down by administrators who said it violated the site's policies. But it popped back up on other sites and was ultimately linked from the popular Drudge Report, which gave it top billing for much of the day.
County police confirmed that the attack occurred April 18 in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave. Police said the 14-year-old girl has been charged as a juvenile, while charges were pending against an 18-year-old woman.
Equality Maryland said the victim is a transgender woman and called on state Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler to step in and investigate the case as a hate crime. Police and prosecutors said they did not know whether the victim is a transgender woman.

I think the operative word there was alleged, do you see it happen. And i don’t think that hoe is any 14 year old girl, probably someone under age is trying to take the heat for big sis.
Actual a woman did try to intervene. That little old lady was heroic, IMHO.

No. It might be a lot of things, but it’s definitely not unfathomable. A man in a dress wants to use the ladies’ bathroom. They pass laws saying it is allowed, but people do not accept this “new reality”.
Of course I’m not saying it justified their actions, but their actions are certainly not “unfathomable”. They are actually very fathomable.
By all accounts, people are most stressed about this story because the man/woman/it is a good faker, and faked a seizure very well, but jumped right up when the cops got there. The blogosphere believed the video for like 8 hours.

She/he might have been referred to as a ‘transvestite’ if it was only clothing. In the vid I was slow to realize that it was a transgendered person because the musculature and behavior of the victim was not noticeably male. By that I mean, I would think that the victim might have gone as far as hormones to reduce musculature (if not surgery to cross genders) because, say, the arms don’t look masculine. I can’t see a fully hormonal male not with responding more agility or strength. I don’t think this person would be all that safe going into a men’s room dressed as a woman but having some attributes of a male (e.g. height).
If that person was originally male, perhaps he/she underestimated the intent and capacity of two ‘girls’ to wreak such ferocious bodily harm against him (still having some mentality or social expectations that a male would have being screamed at by two ‘girls’)
Should have called 911 immediately, and told the perps that they were doing that.
let’s just call it what it is...a man purposely entered a womans restroom fully understanding it was a womans restroom , and that doing so could result in unfavorable consequenses and made the choice to do so none the less.
Frankly the mental state of the individual doesn’t matter to me one iotta. that’s his problem to contend with...also a choice.

There is no such thing as a “transgender”. This is a man. A man whose plumbing has been changed around is still a man.
