Republican strategist Karl Rove says President Barack Obama is taking delight in the fact that Donald Trump is pressing so hard for him to produce his birth certificate, “because that’s exactly what Obama wants conservatives to do.” Speaking to Sean Hannity Thursday on his radio show, Rove also questioned Trump’s conservative credentials.
Hannity started the interview by asking Rove why he was going after Trump.
“Well, I think Trump’s got a thin skin — I don’t think I’m going after Trump,” Rove said. “A guy who says that he doesn’t know what Ronald Reagan is hiding behind his smile, and calls George W. Bush an evil president, comes out for Canadian-style universal healthcare in his book, he calls for raising taxes on millionaires and the wealthy — I mean, not exactly a strong conservative.
“Well, look, I thought he had a shot if he came out as a successful businessman, and said I am worried about jobs, the economy, the deficit, debt, spending,” Rove continued. “But he came out and said: I think Obama was born in the United States [but] began review of his birth certificate — and then he became more paranoid and obsessive since then.
“Now he has sent his private investigators to Honolulu, and says he doesn’t think Obama was born in the United States of America — that’s exactly what Obama wants conservatives to do,” he added. “The constitutional requirement is that you have to be a United States citizen, and by implying, saying, suggesting Obama is not a United States citizen, he is suggesting he was born somewhere else.”

Why doesn't someone hold up a huge copy of the Nordyke BC and point out that it is with 17 hours of Obama’s supposed birth at Kapolani. Therefore if he was born there, he would have a Long Form Birth Certificate just like it. LET'S SEE IT.
Here is an example of how an interview should be done.
Hold up a huge copy of his COLB next to the Nordyke long form BC. Point to the Nordyke BC and say “THIS IS A BIRTH CERTIFICATE”. Then point to the COLB and say, “THIS IS NOT.
Obama, what are you hiding?”
MSM: “But wait, this COLB is what the state of Hawaii gives you. It is just as good as the original. The State Dept..... Blah, Blah, Blah.”

Hawaii law REQUIRES that they provide certified copies of ALL your vital records if you request them. These are just the facts and the law. Maybe you should do some actual research before you make FALSE pronouncements regarding Obama’s eligibility which highlights your ignorance.”

Since Romney stated last presidential election during the GOP presidential debates that he likes government mandates, and says they work, I'm perplexed how it's even possible for Romney to be considered conservative in any aspect.
Now, I personally don't trust Trump even as far as I can throw him, and considering the weight of that hair, it isn't far to begin with. However, he hates government waste, hates suck ups even more, and considering the crop of current 'front runners', he's shining simply because the Huckster and RomneyCare stink so badly.
My viewpoint is that Trump peels off votes from Huckster Rudy McRomney, who all need to stay at the top through the liberal state open primaries to knock out the conservatives in the race. To me, this is win-win - not only do we not have to pay Trump to do this, but just him running should kill a lot of Huckster Rudy McRomney fundraising, and also likely cause a lot of liberals to hold off on their donations, because if Trump does win the nomination, that puts a heck of a lot of electoral votes in play.
Palin doesn't need a lot to keep going, and it'd be easy for it to be a two horse race once the swing through the south is done. And all the while, the GOP will actually have a message coming from two people, vs the lack of message from Huckster Rudy McRomney.

'Read my lips' Bush decided to neglect the issues that Perot brought to the race and took votes for granted. If the GOP candidate does the same thing, it is by their choice not to campaign for those votes, and gross stupidity, as far as I'm concerned. A lot of people like to blame Perot, but it was 'Read My Lips' Bush who backstabed the base more than once and declined to take up the issues Perot brought to the public.
Perot didn't cost the election, 'read my lips' did, and gave it to Bill Clinton. Won't even get into the utter disaster of the Dole campaign.

I find Rove's statement above so funny.
From reading Rove's statement above, I have this funny image of Obama suddenly pulling out his long form birth certificate the day BEFORE election day Nov. 2012, holding it high to the world, and laughing hysterically at the crazy Republicans who made such an issue of his long form birth certificate during the long 2012 presidential campaign season.
Yeah, right. If Obama waits until the day BEFORE election day Nov. 2012 to whip out his long form birth certificate to shock the Republicans and the world, it will be too late, and Obama will lose the election.
Contrary to what Rove says above, I don't think Obama is happy at all that his Obama long form birth certificate controversy is out there.
In fact, I think that Obama wets his pants whenever he has nightmares that Trump and his Hawaii investigators will get lucky and get their hands on a copy of Obama's long form birth certificate and prove to the world beyond a shadow of doubt that Obama is the liar and the fraud that many of us know he is.
However, I'm concerned that we conservatives are investing too much in Trump simply on the basis of "style points".
There's no reliable evidence that he is the conservative he claims to be. Indeed, there's no reliable evidence that he's even a Republican.
REAL conservatives are people you don't like. Christine O'Donnell, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Jim DeMint, Rand Paul.
Trump may not be a true conservative, but I like his moxy. I like his ability to not be bought. I like that he speaks his mind. I like that he is the only candidate with big enough BALLS to question the Kenyan’s eligibility. I like that he LOVES America. I like that he is a true patriot. I like that he isn't going to BOW to foreign leaders or apologize for America. I like that he is for developing our own resources and telling OPEC to F.O. I like that he will TELL China, our terms or else. I like that he knows the danger is MUSLIM terrorists, and that the Amish didn't fly planes into buildings on 9/11. I like that he has seen the light and now is PRO LIFE. (I hope all pro choicers see the light) I like that he has a HOT wife and HOTTER daughter (sorry, I just couldn't help myself). I'm sure there are more, but for now, this will do.
I think those are a lot of valid reasons to vote for Donald Trump. He doesn't fit the “strong conservative mold”?, (I'm not sure what that means exactly). So what?

You know, Sean Hannity is a nice guy, and I think he’s loyal to his friends, but they should not be regular guests on his radio and television show.

Hannity had Rove on his radio show yesterday, but because he and Rove are such good friends, it was a complete softball interview. Hannity should’ve challenged Rove at every turn, but all we were treated to were half hearted attempts at an interview.
The more Hannity has Rino’s like Rove and Newt on his shows, the more credibility he loses personally.

Karl Rove attended THREE different universities, and received a degree from none of them. Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, the top business school in the country. Methinks Rovie would be wise to quit challenging The Donald to a verbal war of words, lest he get the same public beatdown as Rosie.
I have almost no use for Trump but this is the game Tokyo Rove plays—he attacks people and when they attack back he calls them thin-skinned or whatever. The clown pulled the same thing with Sarah Palin. Trump isn’t correct about much but where Rove is concerned, yes, he’s a loser.
