Hi Kathy! I posted some pics upthread .... mostly dirt right now, but stuff is starting to grow.

It’s just one of my many favorite lines from the Clint Eastwood movie “The Outlaw Josey Wales”.

I’ve probably seen that movie more than 30 times and I never tire of it.

Have you read the book? It's so close to the movie you'll think you're reading the script.

If you love the movie that much then I highly recommend you read it. It's called "The Rebel Outlaw: Josey Wales" (republished in 1975 as Gone to Texas) by Forrest Carter.

I read a copy of "Gone to Texas" in the 80's. I can't recall another novel so closely adapted to the screen. It's almost line for line.

Thanks! I hope they survive the heat!

The water experiment is going very well! I didn’t know I
let so much water just run down the drain! Hubby is sooo
happy to have extra rations for all his plants!....and they
haven’t died yet (he added :) )

He got me three roses at the plant sale he worked at. “Winter Sunset”
They are very pretty! :)
