We are shocked by the video from a Baltimore franchised restaurant showing an assault. This incident is unacceptable, disturbing and troubling. McDonald’s strives to be a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who visits. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of customers and employees in our restaurants. We are working with the franchisee and the local authorities to investigate this matter.

So what was this one, a franchise or a "company store"?

You mean personal accountability of “the franchise owner” or the personal accountability of the “company policy”, or the Personal accountability of the “people who stood by and did nothing, or the “Personal accountability of the employees that tried scooting the perps out before the cops got there” or the personal accountability of the actual people who did the beating?
Again, it McD’s has a hands off policy, they are culpable, whether your misinformed self likes it or not.

A good lawyer will get someone off that charge. Police are not obligated to act, and neither are you. If you have neither the training nor equipment nor legal obligation, it’s your duty to, frankly, stay out of it. You’re not obligated to save the kid if you think you’ll get run over in the process. (different, of course, from the right thing to do - don’t get me wrong here.)
I watched that video wondering what I would do. Multiple attackers? Assault not quite up to “deadly or grave”? Not my fight to win? Deadly force legally too much? One punch in the wrong spot and I’m down for good? Staying out of it makes sense, sucks as it may.

And you know this how, exactly? I mean look at the 100 Meter Dash at the Olympics - any Olympics since 1970. It's all blacks, be they from Jamacia, USA, or even places like England that have very few blacks. Why is that? Is that culture too? No. Obviously not. Blacks are better at somethings than white are because of their genetics.
Is there anything, any area at all, where Whites might be, generally, better than blacks? Well in fact that question can probably be answered, but a lot of people have religious beliefs that don't permit it to be.
Black response to White vs. Black fight: Every black piles in to beat whitey.
White response to White vs. Black fight: I'm staying out of it. (even when it's 2 on 1 or more)
I suggest that we might need to rethink this reponse in light of current conditions.
Police are required to keep the peace. They, if there, have to break up the fight to do so.
As for the rest, courts have ruled that deadly force in defense of another is acceptable when that person can be reasonably assumed to be in fear for their life.
Lastly, Yes, it sucks and that’s true. But SOMEONE there could have had the ‘decency’ to stop it. Sometimes standing up for what is right/to defend another can result in personal injury...that whole Revolutionary War/Bill of Rights/Constitution thing and the reasons for them come to mind. But we have become a society that expects it all to be done for us with no threat to ourselves.

The point is that McD's will distance themselves from this whether it is corporate or franchised. Hell, maybe McD's got smart after the Panama City [banned description]-freakout and decided to call all stores franchises now.
In the end, they will produce something that legally tries to absolve them from culpability.
