GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: Did you hear what Congressman Allen West said? Well, hold onto your seat. He compared President Obama to a dictator. The congressman made those remarks during a recent appearance on "The Laura Ingraham Show." And to be specific, Congressman West said President Obama showed, quote, "third world dictator-like arrogance" during his budget speech. So what did he mean? Let's ask him.
Congressman Allen West of Florida joins us. Good evening, Congressman. Those are pretty tough words for the president. I know you have a lot of passion about your views, but the words -- any -- you want a do-over on that, or you stand by those words?
REP. ALLEN WEST, R-FLA.: Good evening. Happy Easter, Greta. And I do stand by those words. And perhaps one of the things that many people need to understand is that the truth needs to be said. When I go around and I talk to people down here in my district and we get phone calls, that speech that was given last week Wednesday was absolutely beneath the statesmanship or the atmosphere or the aura of the personality that the president should show.
I am sick and tired of this class warfare, this Marxist, demagogic rhetoric that is coming from the President of the United States of America. It is not helpful for this country and it's not going to move the ball forward as far as rectifying the economic situation in our country. And I'm not going to back away from telling what the truth is.

Col. West does not pull any punches. I would vote for this man any day of the week. Too bad he is not running for President. He would have all the rest including Obama, beat by miles.

What I especially appreciate is that he has broken free from stereotypes of race, regional origins and political preferences. That he is a strong Christian, loves his wife and children, loves his country, works hard and respects America's way of life makes him a standout in my book. I hope we hear a lot more about him in the coming years.

Lieutenant Colonel Allen West (US Army, Retired) was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia and is third of four generations of military servicemen in his family. His parents instilled in him a very basic principle, love of God and Country. In 2004, when it was time to retire from more than twenty years of service in the US Army, he brought his wife and two young daughters to Broward County, Florida, where he taught high school for one year. He then returned to Afghanistan as an advisor to the Afghan army, an assignment he finished in November 2007. Allen West received his Bachelors degree from University of Tennessee and Masters degree from Kansas State University, both in political science. He proudly wears the Army Master parachutist badge, Air Assault badge, Navy/Marine Corps parachutist insignia, Italian parachutist wings, and German proficiency badge (Bronze award). Allen is an avid distance runner, a PADI Master certified SCUBA diver, motorcyclist, and attends Community Christian Church in Tamarac Florida. Excellence is a West family tradition. His wife, Angela, holds an MBA and PhD. and works as a financial planner. His oldest daughter, Aubrey, attends Archbishop McCarthy HS and his youngest daughter, Austen, attends Parkway Christian School.
