Q: Who will you vote for in a future election if your two candidates are: 1) Obama or 2) a pro-choice Republican?
ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!
Neither. Something wrong with your reading comprehension?
Thank God I am not on the list of moderates!
I will never vote for a pro-abortion candidate.
Republican, Democrat, Independent, Green, Red, or Purple, if you don’t understand that it is NEVER justified to intentionally intentionally kill an innocent human being, whatever that person’s age or stage in life, then while we may appear to agree on certain issues like gay marriage, the economy, etc., it’s only a facade. You have no principles at all, and will compromise on anything if the “need” arises.
There are some absolutes in life, and not killing innocent babies is one of them.
We’ll never get to vote for any candidate who agrees with us 100% on all issues and would vote the way we want them to vote 100% of the time in Congress. So ultimately, we vote for someone because we believe that at some fundamental level, we share the same values.
I don’t share any fundamental values with anyone who thinks that it’s ever OK to intentionally kill an innocent child, and I certainly don’t want that person deciding when it’s time to send my son into battle.
Any apparent agreement such a person and I would have on any other issue is likely to be mere coincidence, and certainly pales in importance compared to a right as fundamental as the right to life.
Ah, shucks, that's an easy one, Leo.
That will be a great day, because the day the Republicans field a pro-choice candidate for president, a third party will instantly become viable. A true conservative we can vote for in good conscience will lead it to replace the GOP in our two party system. And then we can lay to rest this charade that the GOP is a conservative party.
The day the Republican party puts up an abortionist for president is the day it leaves me.
Those who wish to push abortion are welcome to push it elsewhere. Free Republic is a pro-life site. Abortion is the extremist position, not life.
Take heed.
A viable third-party candidate, which will be available if a pro-abortion Republican is ever the nominee.
Ask Rudy Giuliani how likely it is for a pro-abortion Republican to win.
I'd vote for an independent candidate.
I'd vote for an independent candidate.
