Arizona Republican Gov. Jan Brewers decision to veto a bill requiring all candidates running for office in Arizona to provide a copy of their birth certificate alienated some conservatives, who want to see President Barack Obamas certificate. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., isnt one of them, The Hill reports.
Proud of @GovBrewer for her veto of the birther bill -- it was the right decision, he wrote on Twitter.

The birther bill as presented was a joke and should have been vetoed. No one should be able to avoid presenting birth records and then swear other documents like baptismal records are true, and we take their word for it.
Old John just can’t control that flapping jaw! I expect commentary on his bowel movements any day now!
And there ya have it.
When John McLame thinks you did good.....
STFU John McK.L.A.me
I expect commentary on his bowel movements any day now!

Hey! Leave Meghan out of this.

Why do I get the impression that another poster and I from a couple nights back aren’t surprised...
=8-)
Conservative? Well that's accurate. So I guess McWar and Brewer would support a properly written bill? Actually no bill will ever be good enough. Time for a second party.
No, it should have been coopted within a right wing package. We all know the left would have used a similar issue, just as they did in the case of Elian, for political points. Once again we dump opportunities because of lack of leadership and sense of brotherhood for America.
Maybe.
But John McCain is still an asshole.
Yeah, some things will never change: the sun, the wind, the rain, and John McCain.
Note to self: Next twitter should be ...
@McCain should STFU.
they both are part of the problem and not part of the solution
When McStain thinks you did the right thing you know you screwed up.
And what does McCain offer as an alternative to such a law? (did not read the article, but I assume he offered none)
Wasn’t there some question where Juan McCain was born a few years back?
