It's a fool's errand to use traditional indicators as definitive evidence that Sarah Palin is or is not running for president. If nothing else, she's made clear since her national debut two-and-a-half years ago that she plays by her own set of rules.
But her pugnacious speech over the weekend in Wisconsin, promotion thereof and re-launch of her PAC's website today, suggests that she very much wants to stay in the political conversation. As has been well-documented, Palin reads most everything written about her. So she surely didn't miss recent stories about her declining poll numbers and relative quiet. For one who relishes the fight, and the attention that comes with it, there is something far worse than being criticized and that's being ignored or written off.
After the last three days, that's not likely to happen again.

Palin’s influence is unprecedented, and I mean that sincerely. And interesting group of numbers to examine...

Notice that Palin, Bachmann, and Cain, all have similar curves that seem to suggest little disagreement among conservatives about their beliefs. The others find little consensus and this presumes little solid support. A famous Laugh-In quip comes to mind... Verrrry interesting.
You should have put up a barf alert! This is a terrible piece of bias bull**** fill with snarky comments
I agree with what others have said on other threads; when Sarah officially announces, all of the others will free-fall in the polls.
The media has been desperately trying to push others.....it’s an “Anyone but Sarah Palin” attitude.
I love the new SarahPac website......there’s just something so “campaign-ish” about it!
I just watched her Madison speech. She blew the left out of the water and issued a blunt and direct challenge to Obama. “MR. PRESIDENT: GAME ON!!!!!!”
It should go without saying that “Politico” = “Barf.”
Oh! I forgot. LOL
Politico means barf alert.
They own the top barf-o-meter score ever!
I think it's easier to just remember that Politico is an unofficial-in-name-only PR agency for the Obama administration.
“As has been well-documented, Palin reads most everything written about her.”
Oh really? Documented where?
“She’d have real work to do within the ranks of conservatives to become viable.”
Bullsh!t.

I was floored by the Wisconsin speech. She’s stepped up her game, while remaining true to her core principles. The establishment types and the left have got to be shaking in their boots at this point: just when they thought she was ready to ride off into the sunset, she comes back “ready for prime time”.
Say, y’know, since they’re both basketball aficionados, maybe they could play a winner-takes-all one-on-one match. Wonder who would take that contest, eh? Barracuda much?
Yes, this bozo paints Palin, a true patriot, as an attention seeker, but Politico is just fine with Rats that truly are attention seekers.
Eight deuce on the loose!
