PALM BEACH, Fla. – Will Donald Trump actually take the presidential plunge and run for the White House in 2012?
Radio giant Rush Limbaugh now believes the real-estate tycoon and television personality will.
"Up until Friday, I didn't think so. I thought there were other things behind this," Limbaugh said on his program today. "And I still don't know, still into wild-guess territory. But now if I had to put money behind the guess, I would say he's running. I really think he is. As of now I think in his mind, he's running. Now, with Trump, anything can happen between now and that day that he says he's going to announce. ... I think he's gonna do it."

I listened to Rush today and he was NOT confident in his prediction. He was on FIRE though about Obama not giving a poop about what’s good for the country, just for his big special interests.
Is Trump a conservative?
Are they buddies I wonder? Does Rush have inside take on Trump?
What I heard was that Rush thinks Trump is going to run and that Rush is pleased he is running. Rush shies away from endorsements but you can tell he likes Trump
Not sure it makes a difference. Trump is already thoroughly exposed as the non conservative he is; in fact he’s looking - judging by past statements - like he’s a liberal, if anything. But he is NO Conservative. And I’m sure he’ll have second thoughts once the media exam of his empire starts to flush out things that don’t exactly flatter him. He’s a One Trick Pony: All Birth Certificate All The Time. Even if Trump manages to secure enough heat onto the issue to make a serious dent to Obama - denting Obama has ZERO to do with how credible he would be as a Commander In Chief.

They are practically next door neighbors .... must have bumped into each other some time. At the golf course, the rodeo or the opera.

Not only is he NOT a Conservative, he’s a Hillary Liberal.
If he runs as a Republican, or rather they allow him to run as a Republican he’ll be a major RINO.
More than likely will run as an Independent I believe, because I think he’s running as a spoiler for the purpose to Ross Perot the election for a Democrat be it Obama, or Hillary, whichever comes out on top of the fracas I see forthcoming.

Dude I would take Trump in a second over what we have NOW and all three Bush’s BTW add ,Mitt,Suckabee,too that list for a start.

He has consistently taken a good number of positions that are conservative -- eliminating the national debt, school choice, tight border security, pro-death penalty, increasing spending on the military and allowing citizens to opt out of social security.
He also supported Canadian style socialized health care, gun control laws and has been pro-abortion.
I doubt Rush and Trump are 'buddies' or that Limbaugh has any 'inside track' on Trump's plans. Trump appeared on Rush's program because it has a huge audience and Trump loves an audience. Donald Trump is playing 'conservative' these days and an appearance on Limbaugh's program was almost compulsory. However, Rush didn't endorse Trump, he simply said that he thought Trump was going to run, something many FReepers, including this one, agree with.
Trump is entertaining but I don't trust him. I think his 'conservative' awakening is a pose that he'll shed when it's convenient for him to do so. I suspect that Rush finds Trump interesting but would not endorse him - or any candidate. However, Rush often speaks well of Sarah Palin. That shows sound judgment (translation: he agrees with me). .
Isn’t it sweet that the media would flush out things about Trump, while after 2 1/2 years, they still haven’t done it to the poser in the WH?
The media in this country makes me sick.
Trump is not ideological pure! But if I had his money I could live with a little impurity here and there. Yap, $2200 million can overcome a lot of short comings lol. He is also the least PC of those running.

I can’t answer that one for you, nor Rush as I quit listening to him back in the ‘90’s due my hearing got so bad.
I only have time to read, and participate here at FR, so I don’t read his transcripts etc., so I don’t know if he’s doing one of his pranks, or what.
If anybody knows Trump is a Liberal phony, or a would be RINO, or that he’s in the bag for Hillary it would be Rush, so he’s up to something me thinks, and it will come out when he’s ready.
