Police have arrested Hakim Mazen Niad Awad, 17, and Amjad Mahmoud Fawzi, 18, in the West Bank village of Awarta on suspicion of murdering in their beds five members of the Fogel family in neighboring Itamar on March 11. They confessed they were motivated by an ambition to kill Jews as Palestinian nationalists and die as martyrs. They expressed no remorse.
After climbing the Itamar perimeter fence, the pair stole an M16 automatic rifle from an empty house, broke into the Fogel home and knifed two children Yoav and Elad. Their parents Udi and Ruthie Fogel woke up to find the killers in their bedroom and put up a fight. They too were stabbed to death.
When one of the two murderers returned to the house to look for more weapons, he killed three-month old Hadas, stole another M16 and left. He said had he known there were two more children sleeping in the house, he would have butchered them too. Their 12-year old sister found the five bodies when she returned home that night.
The two killers, Awad still at high shcool and Fawzi a student, handed the stolen rifles over to Palestinian accomplices in the Ramallah sector who later helped them destroy the evidence of their crime. Six were rounded up.
Three young Israeli Arabs from Nazareth were indicted before the district court Sunday for conspiring to carry out acts of terrorism. They established a new group called "Pledging Death to Zionists" and planned to make their own pipe bomb and gun for attacking Israeli soldiers, policemen and civilians.
Does anyone know if Israel has the death penalty?

Bring in Al Jazerra TV to film the event.
Bring in a slaughtered dead pig and vial of pig blood.
Bring in the perps and a firing squad.
Make a big deal about dipping the bullets of the firing squad in pig blood.
Lock and load the “contaminated” ammo.
Put the two perps against the wall and shoot them with the “pig blood” ammo.
Take the two dead Palis, dump them in a communal grave, dump the slaughtered pig parts on the dead perps, and bury them all together.
Then tell the horrified Muslims of Al Jazerra TV to tell their Pali viewers: this will be your fate when you murder Israelis. No martyrdom and no 72 virgins; just the eternal damnation of Muslim Hell.

Pershing understood the way to fight the enemy was to fight them with their BELIEFS as well as rifles and pistols. After the Spanish-American War ended, the new American owners of the Philippines found themselves in a war with the Muslim Moro insurgents on the southern island of Mindanao and Jolo.
In November 1900, Pershing was appointed Adjutant General of the Mindanao and Jolo Districts with orders to suppress the rebellion. He distinguished himself in action against the Moro insurgents. Pershing was reassigned to the 1st Cavalry on 1 March 1901 (and later 15th Cavalry) where he participated in a series of fights where he distinguished himself for bravery under fire. In June 1903, Pershing was ordered back to the United States at the request President Theodore Roosevelt.
The way you fight devout and fanatical Muslims is to use their own deeply seated fears and forbidden behaviors against them. The two Fogel family killers are basking in their 15 minutes of fame in the Palestinian community for the butchery of these Jews. They see themselves as holy warriors in the Great Jihad against the Infidels.
Problem: What's the good of being a holy warrior for Islam and being a martyr, if the enemy denies you the opportunity to achieve your goal — martyrdom and a paradise filled with milk and honey and 72 virgins? That is exactly what would happen if the Israelis executed these two murderers this way. It denies them (in their eyes and other Muslims) the end game of their Jihad: martyrdom and paradise.
Only for crimes against humanity, used once for Eichmann. a spy was hung during the 1948 war I believe for treason, though that may have been rescinded.
