Donald Trump's tallest construction project ever is facing some tall challenges.
Many real-estate developers are under pressure these days as lenders and investors rush to cut their exposure to the market. But Mr. Trump's 92-story Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago, which will be the tallest building constructed in the U.S. since the Sears Tower opened in 1973, may be especially vulnerable because it's getting hit by a triple whammy of colliding forces: the credit crunch, the reversal in the housing market and weak retail sales.
The shiny glass skyscraper is one of the few that the brash Mr. Trump developed without partners. The situation also puts pressure on one of the project's major lenders, Fortress Investment Group LLC.

Trump is about Trump. If he was serious about anything, he would have been on board the Tea Party Express from day one. Instead, he ignored TP candidates and rallies, and kept touting Obamacare.
Yet, lessons from not vetting Obama withstanding, freepers are ignoring Trump’s liberal past (historically and recent).
Total BS. One of Soros companies invested a small percentage of the total amount upfront before the project ever started. He was never involved in a bailout of Trump.
Please correct the misleading and incorrect headline!

Do you visit the FL FR board? There is info posted about the luncheon event on the Yacht Anticipation on the 26th from 11:45 - 2:30.

The lucheon event on the 26th will be attended by Allen West and he will be speaking. Meant to say this in my post above...More info on the FL FR board.
What's pathetic is that if everything you've posted there is true (and I have no doubt it is), then Trump is eminently qualified to be this sorry nation's chief executive.
Seems they are coming out of the woodwork against the Donald this weekend. He must have earned a spot on some shit lists with the recent polling. I’m neither for or against him at this point(I still feel burned from FRed Thompson), but I’m very interested to see where it all goes. He sure has hell has as much going for him as the dog show we knew as the GOP field before he jumped in.
Remember, McCain took Soros money. Lots of RINOs did. Soros has tried to own everybody at some point. He spread it around.
All this talk about Obama's past is not helping Obama. Trump is making the birthers non-radioactive. The states are asking to see the BC. And Trump is talking about the millions spent to keep the BC hidden. I don't see this as helping O at all.
If anything, it might be helping Hillary, who probably lusts for revenge. I hear she can really hold a grudge.
What does Trump want? I'm sure that attention is one of the things he wants.
So, plausible, but not convincing as yet.
Thanks for the ping. Very good back and forth thread with some twists, turns and new information. Thanks to all posters.
“he’s dead Jim...”
I've yet to hear Hasner.
I hope he can explain his past voting record. I'm a bit leary of the established RINO's in the Florida GOP.
As of now, my candidate to replace Nelson is Mike McAlister...

Thanks for the link, and while I've enjoyed watching Trump trash Obama lately, am concerned about any possible connections to Soros. What was the outcome of the trial, or did it make it that far, etc? Isn't RICO something usually brought forth by a DA? I will of course research this further on my own, but interested in any further details you may have. Thanks again.
My take is soros and the donald know der reader is toast, so they’re moving him out of the way with the birth certificate, SS#’s, etc., and the hildebeaste will be the heir apparant. Then the donald will split the Republican vote with Sarah, who they know they will have to face. That’s their last/best hope for ‘12. There’ll be tremendous pressure on the donald, and he’ll begin to look transparent, and just enabling the hildebeaste. that’s my story & I’m stickin’ to it.
If this is true, look for a new set of talking points to appear soon on the "progressive" Web sites, and listen for your local "progressive" to start singing a different tune about BO and Trump.
Thanks for the first hand report, and excellent observation. Trump has definitely been making the media rounds, and I've enjoyed every single snippet I've seen of him bashing Obama, but it has been very repetitive. I've actually quit watching him as frequently as I was because I already seem to know exactly what he's going to say. Maybe he's just ramming a winning message home, but it's time for some new material for those of us closely watching.
Trump’s candidacy is already creating a third party; while it shouldn’t be a surprise that Trump really wants the job, he has expediency in place of ideology, so he’s more along the lines of Arnold S. And he’d be better than Zero. But so would my dead cat.
I voted for the Soros Person who had Palin on the ticket as opposed to the Other Soros Person with Plugs The Plagiarizer on the ticket.
Right, be great not to vote for Soros for a change.
