1992: Clinton elected. Swings the country to the left and is met with a landslide election against his policies in the first midterm election. Rich, egomaniac businessman shows up, enters Presidential race, splits voters, ensuring 4 more years of Clinton.

2008: Obama elected. Swings the country to the left and is met with a landslide election against his policies in the first midterm election. Rich, egomaniac businessman shows up, enters Presidential race, splits voters, ensuring 4 more years of Obama.

Trump is a stalking horse for George Soros who has thrown Obama under the bus.

Obama is toast for 2012 and the democrat overlords know it based on the Kenyan’s poll numbers against whites, independents, men, married women with families, and seniors. He will not recover.

Trump is NOT on our side.

I hope that Trump knocks RINO Romney out of competition.

I will not vote for any RINO.

And Romney is the definition of RINO.

But nothing. If he’s not a conservative, we’re done.

I agree with your assessment of Trump. I also hope he puts some spine into other Republicans running for POTUS. I am sick of Republicans groveling and being afraid of the MSM and Obama’s propaganda.

Interesting comments.

have not thought about the causing damage to the Romney campaign, but it makes sense

Trump is the biggest threat to the Karl Rove/Liberal RINO wing of the party...the one that wants to git along with Obama....not ask about the Birth Certificate

Whatever people think of Trump....he has sure exposed the Liberalness of many in the GOP and talk radio. And, the GOP better get with the base on the Obama Birth Certificate

I doubt whether Trump is a true conservative. But I think of Trump as a convenient battering ram. There is something in it for everyone. He wants the self promotion and publicity. I want someone to knock the guy in the oval office around. Works for me.Just so long as when he gets tired of running he drops out for good and does not hang around as an independent to siphon votes away from the Republican general election candidate. Kind of like hockey. You do not want your goon squad on the ice while you are trying to score.

i totally agree. i don’t trust him— but hopefully by leading in the polls he will force romney, pawlenty, etc. to be more aggressive against obama.

Donald is a breath of fresh air injected into the normal blah blah blah of the normal PC talking Repub candidates. He is not afraid to jump in the middle of any topic, take off the gloves and start swinging.

I agree with JosephSmithNAW that Trump has put Mittens firmly in his place. Compare Trump to Romney and Trump comes away head and shoulders above.

I like Donald because he is not a politician. I know he can come across as flaky on some things but in the long run people of all stripes like him. Even though he is rich and lives in a world that is far different from most of America he has a folksy way about him that could draw a lot of Independents and Democrats. He has an advantage because of his name recognition. At the very least he has certainly spiced up the Republican field.

I agree with you. Trump is saying the things that many of us want to say and that politicians won’t. He’s performing a valuable service in stimulating the conversation and turning up the heat where it’s needed.

The enemy fears the awakening spirit of America. Trump is a scheme to split the focus of America and keep the scheming one world order moguls in power. Soros is their point dog..

Three darn good reasons.

Trump is the armor and artillery for the Palin infantry:)

He's clearing the way of entrenched democrat forces AND gutless republicans.

If given a choice between ONLY Romney or Trump...there's not 10 people on FR that would choose Romney.

That's the sad state of the GOP today.

The problem with your theory is, A lifelong moderate Democrat, Trump, is about to win the nomination with the enthusastic support of FR and the TEA party.

A high price to pay to get rid of Romney and Soetoro.

TRUMP HEAD FAKE?

My post:

“He isn’t going to be elected or even nominated. He is hurting the other side. Only elite blue blood party hack liberals think otherwise” ~ LibLieSlayer

Yes, he IS “hurting” Obama.

Hypothetical:

If he doesn’t get the GOP nomination, and switches parties to run as a Democrat against Obama, how many “conservative” votes will he get, do you think.....hummmmmm?

For your consideration:

“I saw the crowd wanted him to talk about Soros but he didn’t want to”

A billionaire who will say anything to get elected. That’s my impression.

Remember Scott Brown? Remember last year when the Republicans said they were going to pass all these tough new immigration laws.

In 2008, Barack Obama was anti-war and was going to fix the economy. You can’t judge politicians by what they say.
