Storm cell is now moving into Surfside Beach, SC. Kind of weird here. Been clear and windy here all day but looking north I see the clouds from this system on the horizon. Most of what I reported happened in my county ( it's a big one ).

Whew! (in response to your post to me).
These folks are busy busy busy...doing fantastic work...help coming in with S&R arriving and going to work. Already asking for more spray paint (which they use to mark the buildings during the clearing evolution.) I’ve heard three houses on one road cleared already. They are doing as trained and drilled. Good work. Some are busy clearing the roads...others S&R...others moving cars/trucks out of the roads etc. A real joint effort. Just stated another road all clear. They are moving FAST!

Both my sisters live in Raliegh. One was driving home from work when it hit. She said pieces of houses (roof, siding, etc...) dropping from the sky. She called my other sister who was in the process of getting her furballs into the intererior bathrooms.
Power out, verizon cell towers down. Can't reach 2nd sister.

Sometimes texting works when normal cell doesn’t. We learned this during Katrina.

Bonnneau and Jamestown are now clear. Georgetown, Surfside Beach, and Garden City SC now have the cells but are no longer listed as tornado warnings, just severe tstorms. They now report another NC tornado just touched down.

Sometimes texting is functioning when normal cell isn’t. It helped us stay in contact during Katrina. Hope it’s of some help to you now.

Under NWS tornado and sever thunderstorm warnings here in Newport News. To quote Leonidas, "Unless I miss my guess, we're in for one wild night."
